Connor Beaton argues against the common belief that a single activity or formula will fix one’s life. Through personal anecdote (searching for the perfect morning routine) and metaphors ("one solution to rule them all"), he urges listeners to recognize multiple contributing factors to challenges and to inspect where they’ve been seeking one simple answer (health, mindset, relationships, sexuality).

And what I've noticed is that a lot of men do that as well. They're looking for the formula to their dysfunction.
The formula to why they're sabotaging. And the reality is that there's probably more than one piece. There's probably more than one answer. There's probably more than one solution that you can apply to the challenges that you're having. And we need to remember that it's not about trying to find this one thing right? I know for myself. For years I was trying to get my morning routine in order, and it was like, if I could just find this perfect formula for my morning routine, I'll never have any resistance against it. And that's the bullshit of the ego. It's the illusion of the ego that tells you that there's one simple fucking solution to rule them all. It's like Lord of the Rings, right? It's the illusion that there is one solution to rule them all. Now, maybe one solution for you, one activity, whether it's journaling or meditation or breath work, has a greater impact than others. That's definitely true. There are going to be things in your life that are going to support you, support your growth, support your finances, your abundance mindset, giving you the type of freedom sexually that you want in your relationship. There are going to be things that support you in a more effective way than others. But that's true. The illusion is that there's just one thing. And so I want you to take a look at your life right now and the challenges that you've been facing and answer the question. Where I've been looking for that one answer is where have you been looking for the one answer? Is it in your health, fitness? Is it in your mindset? Is it with women? Is it sexually with your partner? Where have you been looking for, like, the one solution?
