Have you ever felt like life is just passing you by? You wake up late, you scroll on your phone, maybe you pour yourself a coffee or make yourself a latte, and you tell yourself, I'll get to it later. The day sort of slips into procrastination. Video games, texting, Doom. Scrolling through social media, watching porn. You know you're capable. You know you could. You know you're talented. But somehow you never seem to quite commit. And when real accountability and responsibility comes knocking at your door, you huddle, you collapse, you freeze, you reject, you disconnect, you run away. And unless you start to understand it, the it can keep you trapped in a kind of cycle of longing, nostalgia, and wasted potential.
