Connor Beaton speaks to men at the edge of giving up on their career, relationship, or life. He argues they're not actually out of options, just convinced they are. This is a reframe, not a pep talk.

What do you say to guys that are really thinking about giving up? Whether they're thinking about giving up a career, a job, a relationship, or they're really at the end of their rope and they're thinking about just giving up altogether? This isn't really a plea for you as a man. If you feel like you're at the end and you feel like you want to give up, or a bargain to try and get you to stay. It's not even really a motivational speech or video to try and convince you that life is worth living or anything as cliche as that. It's more of a reminder that you might have more, more choice in life than you think. And I say that because out of all the men that I've ever worked with, out of all the men that I've spoken to, and all the men who have been right at the very edge, what seems to stand out the most is that it seems like the final, irreducible choice. I'm at the very end. I feel like I'm just gonna give up. I had gotten myself there because I felt like I didn't have choice for such a long time.
