when I look around, it seems like sexual culture within our society is pretty busted up. I say that because when I look at the data around the research of what's happening with men specifically, what I end up seeing is that men are having less sex, they're less likely to approach, they're more isolated than ever before. I'm curious if you think that that's true and what you think is contributing to it.
Yeah, I think we've got a lot wrong currently. We have such focus, you more recently on sex as a performance. And that's the message and the version of sex that we see reinforced time and time and time again, from Netflix to pornography to the fact that we only talk about sex when it's going well. What we also see is that there is an assumption that everyone is sexual, everyone is having perfect sex, and therefore if we are the person struggling with sex, everything is very condensed to this performance-driven, kind of perfect, faultless version of sex, and it's not representative of real people's sex lives or the sex that people are having.
