Connor Beaton defines relational leadership as the ability to influence yourself and your partner toward a shared vision for the relationship. He outlines three core components: (1) clarify a vision for the relationship (dynamics, sex life, communication, conflict resolution), (2) create and abide by structure rather than exert control—using clear, calm boundaries when disrespected, and (3) make and follow through on decisions (your yeses and nos) while taking responsibility for failures to maintain trust and credibility as a leader. The video is the first of a four-part follow-up series and uses examples and client anecdotes to illustrate points.
