If you ever find yourself putting yourself under a bunch of pressure going into tournaments, or you feel very antsy going into a tournament, one of the ways that you can work on that is actually by giving yourself less time to warm up, especially when you're going out to play in a practice round. So a lot of the times, a lot of players like to have tons and tons of practice, practice for 1 hour, 2 hours, 3 hours before they go out, and then they play 9 holes or 18 holes and they go practice more. Instead of doing all that, just try going out there and 5-10 minutes practicing, just like warming up your spine, then go out there and play. What you'll find is you actually have to just trust your instincts a lot more. You'll find your instincts are actually pretty good, and as a result, you'll be a lot less stressed. When you're actually in a tournament, you're forced to rely on whatever your instincts are. So if you're struggling going into tournaments, try practicing a little bit less going into just your normal practice rounds, and you'll find that your blood pressure and stress goes down
