Stop obsessing over missed putts. Focus on hitting greens instead, since making longer putts still gets you pars and missing 8-foot putts is normal. Prioritize greens-in-regulation and your score drops naturally.

If you want to shoot better scores, stop getting mad about not hitting it as close as you would have liked on the green. You're gonna miss plenty of 8-footers and you're gonna make plenty of 20-footers. The reality is, if any shot on the green, it's pretty solid. And so what you want to do if you want to lower your scores is just hit as many greens as possible. And that's gonna result in sometimes you're gonna have 8-footers that you miss. Oh well, we made par. Sometimes you're gonna have 25-footers that you make, and and that's always nice. So it's important to keep the main thing the main thing. Hit as many greens as possible if you want to shoot lower scores.
