Elite golfers don't always swing full. Take a longer club and use a shorter swing to control trajectory and face angle better, especially on approach shots where adjusting for wind matters more than raw power.

If you want to hit better approach shots, you should pretty much never hit your actual stock number. A lot of the time it's very easy to go out there and just say, I'm just going to hit every single shot full. But if you look at the elite level golfers, most of them aren't doing that. They're playing a lot of flighted shots. They are using their conditions to be able to manipulate their ball flight. They're taking into consideration the wind and all sorts of other variables. So If you want to take your game to the next level, start taking a little bit more club and learning to play more off-speed shots with shorter golf swings where you have a little bit more control of the clubface and the trajectory.
