Play actual rounds instead of grinding at the range. A beginner who plays many balls on the course consistently for about a year develops the feel and skills to progress fast. Volume and on-course repetition beat isolated range practice.

When I was a beginner golfer, this is the best advice that I ever got, so I hope it helps you. If you want to get good at golf really fast, play a ton of golf. Don't grind on the driving range. Go play a ton of golf, a ton of balls, but go out there on the golf course and get the reps in. Only way that you become elite at something is by doing it a lot. Once you've done it a lot, once you've been out on the golf course a lot, then it's gonna be a lot easier when you do make those changes to see progress in your game. So when I say do it a lot, I mean for like a year. A year of playing golf on a regular basis is going to do more than anything else ever could, especially if you're just getting started.
