The hardest part of golf is getting out of your own head. Pick three simple goals each round, like hitting more greens and avoiding three-putts. Develop a consistent rhythm and repeat the same shot execution to stay relaxed and play better.

I think probably the hardest thing in golf is getting out of your own head. I mean this at probably all levels, from the figurative to even the, the essentially the, the very, very detailed. Getting out of your own head is probably the hardest thing to do in golf. So here's a couple of tips to actually accomplish that. Number 1, you want to make things really simple for yourself. It's very easy to make golf very complicated. There's a lot of things going on. You want to make things as simple as possible. The other thing you want to do is have a couple objectives you're trying to get done every single round you go out there. So for me, usually that's hit a bunch of greens and avoid 3-putts as much as possible while hitting the ball in play. And number 3, you want to have a rhythm, a tempo to the way that you're actually playing. So you want to have kind of a cadence to that where you can load up on every single shot and hit the same shot over and over and over and over again. If you're able to do those 3 things, it's going to be a lot easier to stay out of your own head. Just go out there, be relaxed, and have a lot of fun.
