Change your golf swing only if it does one of three things: hits the ball more solidly, starts it on your intended line, or makes the curve more predictable. Cosmetic changes that don't affect these outcomes won't help your score, so stick with what you have and get better at it instead.

If you decide to make a change to your golf swing, it should do one of three things, if not all three. Number one, it should help you hit the ball solid more often. Number two, should help you start the ball on your desired line more often. Or number three, it should help you curve the ball more predictably the way that you want the ball to curve. If it accomplishes all three of those, then amazing. If it doesn't do any of those those things and it's just kind of a cosmetic choice, you're better off just taking what you already have and just getting better and more comfortable with using that golf swing rather than trying to change variables. What'll end up happening is you won't really know where the ball is going while you're making those changes, and at the end of the day, the changes really didn't make that big of a difference on anything that's really going to matter as far as your scoring.
