Connor Stirling Peterson says bad shots aren't failures, they're feedback. Each miss shows a specific weakness to fix in practice. Focus on that instead of the score, and you'll lower stress while actually improving.

Instead of getting upset about things that you're not good at on the golf course, try to start looking at it as feedback, right? Because at the end of the day, it doesn't matter what you shoot, you're still gonna go out there and practice in the future. So if you're not gonna give up, you know you're always gonna be working on something. The question is just what, what should you be working on? What should you be focused on? You suck at something on the golf course, great, you've got that answer. Makes things pretty easy, you know what to focus on. You've got a reminder of exactly exactly what you need, you know, and why it's important. And then all you need to do is just say, okay, cool, still not good enough at that, I need to keep my focus there. That's it. That'll help you lower your blood pressure a lot, and it will help you play better golf in the long run.
