Stop watching what other golfers are doing. The best players win by mastering fundamentals better than everyone else. Focus on fixing the specific parts of your own game that lower scores, and results will follow.

I think one of the biggest challenges, especially if you're trying to play high-level golf, especially as a junior golfer, is fighting the urge to always be looking around and seeing what everyone else is doing. The reality is they're not that much further along than you are, and the players that are doing really well, they're actually just doing some really basic things probably better than you are. So instead of always looking around and trying to find the edge over somebody else, learn how to focus on your own game. Learn how to look at the things in your game that are going to translate to lower scores, and keep your focus there. If you're always focused on how do I get better, how do I get better week after week, then what'll end up happening is the results will take care of themselves. You'll shoot the scores, but more importantly, you'll have ownership over your game, and that's what's really going to develop your long-term confidence.
