I think one of the worst things you can do on the golf course is go out and expect that nothing bad's ever going to happen. Reality is you're going to screw some stuff up. You're going to feel uncomfortable at times, and it's important to not shy away from that. It's important to not be in a position where you feel like you got to go out there and not mess anything up because you're going to. And so what you need to do instead is go out there, understand you're going to mess up, But under— try and understand why you mess up and over time reduce the number of times that you're actually making mistakes. At the same time, when you're uncomfortable, instead of trying to shy away from that and say, how can I not be uncomfortable? Look at it as an opportunity to prove to yourself that you can do something even when you don't feel perfect. Because the reality is, most golfers will tell you this, play it at a high level, you're gonna hit some shots that are really good where you felt like crap and you were super nervous. That's okay, that's gonna happen. Better to get the experience than try and shy away from that and pretend it's never going to happen, because that's just a fantasy.
