Transcript excerpt from a YouTube video by Alec Couros describing a violent crime: an adult male shoots another male, then sexually assaults a female before fleeing. Technicians make a plaster cast of a shoe print; a witness describes a man in black. Detectives are frustrated because the varied, haphazard MOs and victim selection make linking this incident to prior murders inconclusive.
Shoots the adult male. And it appears he's trying to eliminate the obstacle to get to his lust, which was female. Then he went ahead and sexually assaulted the female and left the location.
Monterey park crime technicians make a plaster cast of a shoe print found under a window in the backyard. Lillian tells of a man dressed in black with a gun and bad teeth. Still, detectives are frustrated by the lack of conclusive evidence that would prove that this is the work of the same man who committed the previous murders. The MOs are just too varied, too haphazard, including the selection of the victims themselves.
