Hey, girl, if you don't have that confidence when you are dating, then we need to step away from dating and actually level up our confidence. Now for those of you that don't know me, my name is Anmar White. I'm a dating coach for smart and successful women of color. But I want to talk a little bit because I get asked all the time, girl, do you have any plus size dating tips? And you know I got you, girl. One question I want to ask you though. If you were to rate your confidence on a scale from 0 to 10, and this is for plus size or other size women, what would you rate yourself? Whatever that number is, please understand that not only are you going to attract that level of man, but you will also attract that level of treatment. And for many of my plus size ladies out there, their numbers are coming out of three, four and five. And girl, that's not gonna work. Yeah. So please understand that oftentimes confidence is a major factor of learning how to date successfully. The other thing that I want to offer to you, and these are my specific, specific, specific tips for plus size ladies that are dating. Because to be honest with you, there's not much difference between dating as a plus size woman or an other sized woman. But these are the kind of three things that I see so often when it comes to plus size women that are dating. And it's all around grooming. If a guy is commenting on your body before ever meeting you, it's a no for me dog. Right? What is he doing? He's trying to butter you up, girl. He's trying to get you into his web so that you're feeling good and, and confident and sexy because he thinks that you have a lower confidence in your body. So he's gonna butter you up. That's number grooming. Number one. Grooming. Number two is when a guy says, oh yeah, I love plus sized women.
Squeeze me. That's another way for him to try to butter you up. He's going to you, he's going to try to make you think, oh, he's living, he's living for this because he loves this. What I see as a dating coach who gets women and specifically plus size women into relationships every week, every month, they don't say anything about your body. They never say anything about your body. They don't even compliment it because that's not what they're, they're looking for. The whole package. They're not focused on the physicality of who you are. They're focused on the totality of who you are. Yeah. So guys that are doing that, please understand that they probably have an ulterior motive. That's number two. Number three, if you're on a date with a guy and a guy touches you, please understand, leave immediately. He is literally grooming you and pushing your boundaries because he is trying to use you for your body. He thinks that because you are plus size, you. You don't care about your body and that he can do whatever he wants to your body. And I'm not saying that to be disrespectful. I'm literally trying to give you a sense of how these men are thinking. Yeah. So with that said, don't get groomed by these men. Ladies, you are a thick milkshake. And a lot of men love thick milkshakes. Girl. Here are my tips, right? In terms of the logistics of trying to do this and do this in a successful way as a plus sized woman dating. Many of my plus size women get a lot of success on OkCupid. If your confidence is super low, girl, go on plenty of fish or Woo plus and just receive all of the message so that you are reminded and you have the physical evidence that there's so many men that are checking for you. And then also a lot of plus size women have a lot of anxiety around meeting men in real life because they're afraid of getting rejected. Make sure you have two full body pictures on your online profile, okay? Because. And they need to be recent. I don't care what you look like. I don't care if you were 30 pounds or 20 pounds lighter before the pandemic. Girl, let him know what you're working with because your guy is going to love all of you, even the parts that you don't even love about yourself.
