Short YouTube advice clip by dating coach Anwar White urging women to stop passively "going with the flow" in dating. He frames the issue as cultural conditioning (being raised as obedient "daughters") and provides three concrete timelines: (1) if a man on a dating app doesn't ask you out within one week, move on; (2) bring up exclusivity at month three and let him go if he won't commit; (3) if after two years you are not engaged or married, consider stepping back (he claims the probability of marriage drops from ~50% to ~10% after two years).

Hey, girl, if you are someone who is always going with the flow, then I want you to listen to this message because one, we need to stop that immediately. That is not going to serve you in your love life. But two, I want us to get to the core of why we actually do that. Right? And one of the things that I've noticed in being a dating coach for over a decade and helping thousands of women get their guy is that oftentimes women are raised to be daughters and not women. What do I mean by that? I mean that as a daughter, you're expected to obey. You're expected to follow directions. You're expected not to speak up or speak out. You're expected to also just listen to whatever's been said and be the good girl.
I want us to do it differently. And so what I have for you is specific guidelines to help you navigate your love journey and dating journey. Okay? All right. The first timeline that I want to give to you is, if a guy is not asking you out within a week of being on an app, let him go. Second timeline, bring up the exclusivity conversation at month three. If you are ready to be exclusive with him. If he's not ready to be exclusive with you, probability tells me that he will never want to be with you, let him go. Third and final timeline that I want you to think about is if you have been with a guy for two years and you are not engaged or married, then I want you to seriously consider stepping back. Probability says that if you are not married within two years, like, the probability goes from 50% of getting married to, like, 10% of getting married. I don't like those odds, and I know that you won't either, especially if you've invested almost two years with a man. So you want to step away from that situation. Okay? I hope that helps you as you start to navigate your life and stop going with the flow. You own and you manage your love life, right? So let's start acting like it. No more going with the flow. Hope this helps.
