A dating coach advises women to make coffee the default first date to better evaluate potential partners without pressure. The speaker argues that elaborate 'fancy' dates create implicit obligations (e.g., sexual reciprocity) and recommends women set the pace, offering a short script to steer plans toward coffee. The video closes with a call-to-action to book coaching for further help.

I don't do coffee dates and you shouldn't either. Only do high value dates. Okay? So please realize this creator is talking to men and not women. I am going to talk directly to women here because I think it's important for you to know that you should be going on coffee dates as your first date. It's something that I recommend to all of my dating clients. I'm a dating coach. I've been a dating coach for 12 years. I swear by it. And the reason I swear by it is because when you're on a coffee date, you get to know the person who for who they are. Most of these men will want to wine and dine you so that you will overestimate the date and overestimate them as a man and as a person. Right? This is what I want you to know. When they are rolling out the red carpet and they're being fancy schmancy on these dates, there will be a passive pressure for you to want to reciprocate, AKA sleep with them on these dates. And this is one of the reasons why so many people do it, so many men do it. Especially toxic and narcissistic guys. I never want you to be in a situation where you are on a date and you feel stuck because there's been so much effort and energy and money put into a date. And that's what happens when you put yourself in these situations. And guess what? Because you don't know this guy, half the time it's going to be that way. Half the time it might be good, right? Go on the coffee date. As a woman, you set the pace and the emotional depth of the courtship and all of your relationships. Don't be afraid to let him know if he proposes going to the basketball game. Hey, that sounds really great. I actually would prefer to just get to know each other a little bit more through coffee. And then I'd love to do something if we both are still liking each other afterwards. Smiley face emoji, right? This is important because most guys don't want to do the pace of the women that they're pursuing. And you want to be with someone that is prioritizing your happiness, your convenience, and your comfortability. Most guys won't want to do that, and that's why most guys will want to go on a fancy schmancy date with you. Go on that coffee date, girl. And if you need more help, book a call with me and I will help you get your love life together.
