You couldn't save me, but you can let me go. The quick answer is that you think that she's better than you, but she's not. This is a complete fallacy, and I'm gonna explain why. There's a principle called the 9010 principle, which means that you probably have 90% of everything that he needs, not because there's something wrong with you, but literally, it's impossible to have 100% of compatibility and perfectness in a relationship because everyone's human. You're thinking, and just like he's thinking that she's better than you because she has this 10% that maybe he doesn't feel from you. But his fallacy is that he thinks that she has the extra 10%, but she has also the 90% of what you have. She doesn't. She will also be missing something and oftentimes missing more than what you had. And so he gets mad and he gets butthurt, but his pride will never let him come back to you. Please believe she's not better than you.
