Short YouTube monologue by Anwar White addressing the question “Do I believe all men are violent?” The speaker answers no, argues that men are often socialized to limit emotional range and to show anger, but emphasizes that not all men are violent. The speaker also advises that dating successfully requires self-trust and clear personal boundaries to stay safe.
Jdk do you think all men are violent but they hide it better than others? No, I don't. Personally.
I think that men are socialized to be us like specific. Like, you know, they're not socialized to experience all of their feelings and emotions and that oftentimes they are encouraged to show one feeling which is anger. But not all men are like that. Okay? And so if you feel like that is the case then.
You may be very scared of men. And I think some men are scary. I'm not saying that you shouldn't be but I do think that to be successful in dating there has to be an inherent trust within yourself and your boundaries have to be on point to keep yourself safe. And if your boundaries aren't there.
Then yeah, it's like keep it's like having a house and having your door open and having your windows open and waiting for someone to just come in and ransack you. Yeah.
