Short monologue advising mothers—especially single Black mothers—on raising sons to treat women respectfully. The speaker argues mothers model expectations by how they allow men to treat them, warns against emasculating or overcompensating for sons, and encourages women to prioritize themselves to set healthy relationship standards.
Bougie Bite said. How can we raise our sons to treat women right when they start dating?
By being.
The woman.
That expects nothing less from men.
Do you know what I mean?
Your son will literally create a narrative in his head about how women are supposed to be treated based on how you allow men to treat you.
Don't let these men do anything and everything to you right? Also make yourself number one. Many women single moms, especially single black moms has just been my experience in doing this work.
Either will emasculate their sons or create a surrogate partnership with them.
Against their will and it makes men not want to be involved with women and not want to commit right? Or they're doing way too much for their son so they're spoiling them so they think that women are supposed to be their mamas.
Got to give them the space to actually handle things in their masculine energy that they are developing and curating for themselves. Such a great question.
