Bri Breezy said, how do we get off physical attraction? First? Oftentimes people that, like, lean into the physical attraction or physical connection, they're overestimating that because they are underestimating the emotional connection. So part of the work is also, like, becoming emotionally unstunted. And many of us, especially if you're a person of color, like, I always tell this for many of my clients, like, many of my clients are, like, 250 years old intellectually, but, like, emotionally, they may be 8 or 10. So part of this is, like, unsenting yourself emotionally so that that could be something that's valuable to you. But if you have a lived experience where you're not, like, engaging in that so much, because most of the time when we were raised, like, our feelings aren't necessarily celebrated or welcomed. So, like, we actually tend to not value them as much. But once you start, like, leaning into those feelings and starting to understand that they are safe, that you can start to value them more, and in doing so, be able to look into that with other people, okay, that's the work. This is what I help my clients do so that they can get into healthy relationships.
