A short YouTube clip in which Anwar White answers the question “How do we watch out for being fetishized?” He warns that fetishizing comments often focus on specific physical attributes (skin tone, lips, nose) rather than general compliments, and offers a personal anecdote about being fetishized while living in Germany.
Okay. Ms. John Wick. Love the name. By the way, how do we watch out for being fetishized? Great question.
I think that one of the things that I see is guys that will, like, fetishize you will often really talk about your physicality. So they'll talk about your skin tone. They'll do, like, that contrast, and they usually are, like, this white when they're doing that contrast, girl. Like, oh, my God, look at the difference. The. The thing that you have to take, you have to be aware of is, like, guys that will talk about your hair are really into you, and oftentimes will not try to, like, fetishize you. The guys that are, like, talking about your lips or your nose or your skin tone. No. Girl, I used to live in Germany, girl, and some of those Germans, I told you they were kinky, right? Third Reich. T. Girl, they. Girl, they would like, your. Your skin smells different. I'd be like, girl, I just, like, didn't shower this morning. But, like, girl, they. It feels different. Girl, they were all into it. Girl. They were like, girl, they thought I was an alien, girl.
And I gave. I gave him this. Girl, I gave him that. Yeah. So that's how I know. Hopefully that's help.
