A short YouTube monologue in which the speaker describes how she built confidence—anecdote of moving to Europe where she felt desired, bringing that self-view back home, and practical advice for women: recognize your beauty, understand that men often behave like ‘little boys’ (varying maturity levels), and learn how to ask for help. She references coaching sessions (≈90 minutes) teaching these skills.
How can we be as confident as you, girl? Here's my dad. I was. I wasn't ever. I wasn't this. I wasn't this confident, like, my entire life. I had to build to this. And part of my experience and understanding that I'm that girl.
First of all, like, a week after I graduated undergrad, I moved to Europe and I experienced how all these European men were gagged on me. I. I could go into a. A bar, a club, and I could have any man that I wanted. And I'd never had that experience in the U.S. and so what. I brought that back to the U.S. with me, and that helped me a lot. Sometimes you got to know that you are beautiful, and sometimes you need a. You need that reminder. That's number one. Number two, the other thing that I realized that I think might be helpful for a lot of the women out there is realizing that. And I don't mean this in like, a hugely negative way, but you have to understand that these men are little boys. They do not have any power over you. You have all of the power in the world, and it is your job to figure out how to embody it and how to harness it. This is what I help my clients do.
We had a whole almost hour and a half session on how to ask for help, how to get. How to get what you want. Because I will tell you this, if you don't know how to ask for help, it is going to be almost impossible for a man to fall in love with you. Each and every man out there.
He'S got like four ages. He's five, he's eight, he's 13, he's 18, and he's 30.
You just got to figure out how old of a man you're talking to.
Once you truly internalize this. Because a lot of us will pedestalize men because that's what we did with our fathers. You don't need to do that.
