A short YouTube commentary by Anwar White addressing the emotional impact of being ghosted in dating. He validates the hurt, reframes ghosting as a reflection of the ghoster’s incapacity rather than the recipient’s worth, and recommends emotional detachment and programs (including his) to help move forward.

Someone said, anwar, how do I get over being ghosted? Well, first of all, I think it's important to understand that for many of us that are ghosted, it actually has the same effect of us physically being harmed. So I just, like, want to honor kind of how it feels. But I think it's also important to realize that, like, if someone is ghosting you, then he was never meant to be your boyfriend, and he probably doesn't have the relationship skills to be a great boyfriend anyway. I think a lot of us are actually, like, making it mean that his inability to show up means something about you and your worthiness and your deservedness. Dating is not personal.
It might feel personal, but it's not. Most of the time, they're doing this with you and 10 other people.
They're ghosters.
Give up the ghost, girl.
It's very important. I will also say that.
Anytime I hear that, I know that you're taking dating too personally.
So there's a level of detachment that needs to happen if you were to be successful in dating. And a program like mine can definitely help you with that if you're interested.
