Short advice monologue (YouTube) arguing that routine ‘good morning’ texts are low-value signals in dating because they can be mass-sent and lack intimacy. The speaker recommends tracking substantive behaviors instead—regular date planning, memory for small details, asking insightful questions, and unsolicited after-work check-ins—as better indicators of genuine interest. Ends with a call-to-action to book a consultation.

Hey, girl, I'm gonna need you to do me a favor. I need you to realize that these good morning text messages that these guys are giving you actually don't mean a damn thing. And I'm gonna tell you why. Here's the thing. He's sending that message to literally five or eight other women every morning, and it takes him, you know, what, 10 seconds. There's no intimacy in those actual text messages. And I'm pretty sure that you're annoyed by them anywhere, because the conversation doesn't mean anything and it doesn't go anywhere. It doesn't mean that he's thinking about you. It means that he's checking off a box in the actual courtship phase. Just in the same way that if you are working and somebody sends you an email or does something for you and you respond, hey, thanks so much for doing that. It's the same thing. It doesn't really mean anything. It's pleasantries at the end of the day. What I want you to be looking out for, as it pertains to if a guy actually likes you or not, is if he's planning dates regularly, at least once, one per week, if he is remembering very small details of what you've shared with him, and if he's asking insightful questions. Now, if you want to try to figure out in text messages if he likes you or not, I'm actually more interested if he's texting you after work, because it means that he's had a full day and he's working hard and he's focused on his work, and he wants you to be the first person that he tells about his day to. That's more important than a good morning text, because that is something that he doesn't need to do and he doesn't feel like he has to do. I hope this helps as you navigate things. And if you want to learn how to navigate your dating life much more, book a consult with me.
