How Long Do I Need to Date For To Get Into A Relationship? #datingadviceforblackwomen #blackgirldati

Dating coach Anwar White breaks down the math: at a typical 5% swipe rate, expect about two years to find a partner. Bump that to 20% and you're looking at six months. The key is consistency, vulnerability, and setting boundaries.

Girl, do you want to know when you're going to get your guy? Well, I might be able to help you with that. Now, here's the thing. A lot of people think that dating is very romantic and it can be, but I want to let you know that it's also very mathematical. And if there's any dating coach out there that is telling you that it is not, they are not doing you a service. Now, as a dating coach for 14 years and as someone who was an undergrad statistics major, I look at love, dating and relationships both qualitatively and quantitatively. So I have created a dating model to help you understand what when you might get your guy based on the population averages.
So this is a little bit small, but I'll explain it to you. So in the left box you have the online app to date ratio. So depending on your swipe rate, you will go out with a certain percentage of guys. Most women will swipe at a 5% rate. So 1 out of every 20 guys most women will swipe on. Now, your match rate is someone who matches with you and has a conversation with you, which is roughly around 20% on average. So, so if you have a swipe rate of 5%, then you're probably going to go out on dates with 1% of the guys that you review. So out of every hundred profiles, you're going to go out on a date with maybe one of them. On the right hand side above me here, I have, based on your swipe ratio, exactly how long it's going to take for you to get your guy. Now, if you are swipe rate of 5%, you're going to have to go through about 5,800 profiles to get your guy. And when I say profiles, I'm not just talking about online, I'm talking about offline as well. So if you are in a lounge that has 20 people in there, then you are going to be going through or 20 guys in there, you're going to be going through 20 profiles, right? So assuming that you go through 10 profiles a day, it's going to take you about two years to get your guy at the 5% swipe rate. And that's assuming going out on a date once every week or four times a month. Now if you increase that swipe rate to 20%, it's going to take you about six months to get your guy. And if you increase it to 50%, it's going to take you about three months to get your guy. Okay. Anything over 50%, it actually doesn't yield results. But let's say you don't go out on four dates a month, you go out on two dates a month. Then you'll need to double these, these, these lengths here.
So as your fairy godbrother, I wanted to share with you some takeaways. One, let's try to move up to 20%. So that's one out of every five profiles that we get to engage with and talk to. Why? Because most people are trying to swipe based on their type and your type is not your type. As a dating coach who gets two to three women into relationships every week, 95% of the women I talk to say, oh, this is definitely not my type. Number two, we're going to have to be patient. Yeah. And manage our mindsets and our confidence because there's going to be a lot of non matches, AKA rejection and dating. And one thing that I think is really important to understand is when you stop in dating, it's not like you pick up on your profile review number, you start back from zero and you lose all of your momentum and your results. So consistency is key here. And then lastly, please understand, obviously emotional connection is very important as well. So things like vulnerability and boundaries are always going to be key. And if you need help with any of that, you can definitely book a call with me. But let me know exactly how long it generally takes you to get your person.
