Girl, I'm going to teach you how to get engaged in a year. Now, most people just like dating, don't know how to relationship. And as a dating coach for 15 years, and as your fairy godbrother, I want to teach you a similar overview of how I teach my relationship clients that gets at least one or two engagements a month in my program. Now here's what I want you to know. You set the pace and the emotional depth of all of your relationships. So I'm going to give you an overview so that when you find the right man, and by the way, if you need help with that, definitely book a call with me. You know exactly how to go from girlfriend to fiance to wife. Okay? Month one, it's all fun, it's all flirty, it's all light. I don't want, I don't want to be talking about deep subjects. I don't want to be talking about traumas. I don't want to be talking about any of that. I want to keep it light. You're looking for, is he consistent, dependable, communication wise, is he planning dates? We're just having fun and we're talking shit and we're bantering all along the way. So that's all. Month one, we're here to figure out, can we have fun together? Now, month two, month three, it's all about the exclusivity test, meaning can he get exclusive with you? So you have the coffee date to get to know. Do I want to get to know him anymore? Then you want to have six dates. After six dates, that's when we figure out if he's ready to be exclusive or not. And that generally coincides with the two to three month mark of dating someone. If he hasn't actually gotten exclusive with you after those six real dates, that's when you want to just let him know, oh, I'm busy this time. I'm going on another date. He's gonna freak out a little bit. And that's when you want to say, oh, I didn't know we were exclusive. Should I cancel my date? Then boom, locked in, exclusive. Obviously there are other things that we need to do there. But now you're an exclusive relationship by month three, month four through six. And this is where most people get it wrong. This is a comfortable stage. He's gonna be doing a little bit less for you than what he's done before. And people think, oh my God, he doesn't like me anymore, I gotta get rid of him. No, he's just comfortable with you. And this is the normal homeostasis of the relationship. So for every couple of things that he does for you, you're gonna have to do something for him. A special dinner, take him out to his favorite sports team, a great vacation. Right. Little, little things. Not major, major things, but things that are going to hit his heart. Yeah. Also in the four to six month range, this is when we are expecting him to say I love you. If he hasn't said I love you after the two to three things that you need to do in this time period, you want to do one amazing thing once a month, then we got to let him go. But if he said I love you after that, we keep on going. Now we're at month seven, month eight. Now we will have hopefully met at least three members of his family. Okay. Siblings, parents, what have you. Best friends don't count. We should have been meeting his friends earlier on. Okay. After that, that's when we want to plant the seed. We want to let him know, yeah, I think I'm ready to be a wife. Catch that tea. Yeah, we have to plant seeds. It's almost giving Hansel Gretel a little bit of breadcrumbs so he knows, oh, this is what she's ready for. We have to give him time to figure out if he's ready for it. And they usually need about three to six months time. So that's why you want to plant this seed in months seven and eight. Honey, there's a strategy here, okay? Now catch this tea. Notice you didn't say that you want him to marry you. You just talked about yourself. His response to this question will let you know if he sees you as a wife or if he's wasting your time. Either way, you win. Now we're at month nine and ten. This is where you set the soft standard. This is where you say, you know, I love you, but I love me more. And I know within a year whether I want somebody to be my husband or not. And I would like to be engaged by the end of this year. Now.
What you do after that is you start sending some of your favorite ring styles. You will see that he's going to put things into motion. He might also you might have a few more in home dates. Been out of the home dates and less travel. But realize he's getting ready to propose, right? And to set his life up to be with you and to provide for a family. So now it's been a couple of months. Month 12. You've kept it cute, you've kept it feminine, you set the tone and the standard, and it's wiped up time. Fiance Beyonce time. Yeah. So I hope this is helpful. This has worked many times. Let me know if I've missed anything. But ultimately, it's not about getting the ring. It's about becoming the woman that's ready for an amazing, healthy marriage. And the first step is finding the amazing person to actually be in a relationship with. So if you need help with that, definitely book a call with me, but let me know if I missed anything.
