A short monologue (YouTube) by Anwar White offering advice for confident women on how to make themselves more approachable to men. The speaker stresses that you cannot make men do anything, but you can appear welcoming by talking to others, avoiding a 'stank face', not looking aloof or on your phone, and being relatable and outgoing.
She from New York. How to get men to approach confident women.
First of all, we can't make. Yeah, Game of Thrones. Thank you, girl. We can't make men do anything.
Yeah.
I think that's really important to understand. But what you. What you can do is be as welcoming and open and happy as possible. The easiest way to get people to approach you is by actually talking to other people. Because most of the time, men don't want to approach you because they don't want to be rejected. So if you are at the bar and you're talking to the bartender, you're talking to the guy next to you, you're talking to the woman next to you, what they're getting is, oh, she's very outgoing. She'll talk to me, too.
If you have a stank face, if you're on your phone, if you look over everybody and, like, you look like you're better than everybody, nobody's going to approach you.
I'm only saying that because some of us, no shade. Try to act like that to try to create some sort of status, higher status in the environment so that we feel, you know, we're trying to, like, put ourselves, you know, above the pack of people that are there. That's not how you're going to get your life. You're going to get your life by actually being relatable.
Okay, let me know if that's helpful. That's not a call out, that's a call in, by the way.
