Anwar White (YouTube creator) lists three wedding behaviors he believes predict a marriage will end in divorce: (1) the groom pushing cake into the bride's face (interpreted as aggression/abuse), (2) the groom performing theatrics or stealing focus during the ceremony (interpreted as narcissism/being 'the prize'), and (3) wedding-party signals—e.g., a maid of honor's toast mentioning only the bride or bridesmaids rolling their eyes at the groom—indicating poor social support for the groom. The video ends with an invitation for viewer comments.

Girl, if you want to know if a marriage is going to be doomed or not, just go to the wedding. You'll see. Exactly. I have three ways that I know that a marriage is going to be doomed based on what I see in the wedding. I go to weddings at least I don't know, once a quarter because my clients are getting into relationships and getting married and luckily they don't go through this. But I have seen it a number of times. So I wanted to highlight that for you as your fairy godbrother. And so here we go. Number one, if the groom pushes cake in that bride's face, that wedding, that marriage is not going to work. It's giving aggression. Deep seated aggression. Violence, abuse. He wants to humiliate her in public and shame her. This should be her day. She should be exalted, not humiliated. So that's number one. Number two, if the groom is doing mad theatrics, it if he's walking down the aisle, if he is doing a whole show in production, he's pulling focus onto him and not letting her have her day. Why is this important? Because it means that he thinks that he's the prize and this is what the relationship is going to look like moving forward. Number three, if the maid of honor does her toast and she is just talking about the bride and nothing about the groom, or if the groom is like saying his vows and all of the bridesmaids are rolling their eyes, it's not going to work. Nobody likes him. Nobody likes them.
Those are the three ways that I know that marriage is doomed for divorce. Just by going to the wedding. Let me know in the comments if you have seen otherwise.
