Short YouTube clip (Anwar White) responding to a viewer question about whether it's wrong to show a man you're interested. He advises creating space for men to demonstrate interest, warns that overtly signaling interest can attract men who will take advantage, and emphasizes maintaining boundaries—comparing dating to poker where one must fold many hands.
Keena says Amar. I think you meant my name. Anwar. Is it wrong to let a guy know you're interested?
I'm always of the mindset that you should create space for someone to show that they're interested in you. Yeah. Because men that are interested in you will actually show up for you more often. If you are, like, just trying to make it known that you like guys, it gives off, like, a thirsty vibe, and it is going to attract men that are going to want to use you based on knowing that you like them. Men will actually like you more if you show that you're like, you can take them or leave them. And I literally want you to take or leave these men. And most of the time, you're going to leave them.
Like, I always feel like dating is like poker. You gotta fold most of these hands, and if you don't have the boundaries to do that, you will not be successful in dating.
