Let's Get Rid of the Beliefs Holding You Back From Love

Anwar White, CEO and founder of Get Your Guy Coaching, leads a live YouTube coaching session about identifying and reframing limiting beliefs that prevent women from achieving their relationship goals. He presents common defeatist thoughts (e.g., lack of a healthy model, insufficient experience), offers cognitive reframes and analogies (Ferrari vs. roller skates), and encourages consistency and skill-building in dating.

Hello, Hello. Hello my loves. I hope you're doing well today. Happy, happy, happy Monday. For those of you that don't know me, my name is Anwar White and I am the CEO and founder of get yout Guy Coaching. I help smart and successful women heal their hearts, meet high quality men and get into the best relationships of their lives. So if that's something that's of interest to you, we should continue chatting because that's my business and I get to work. Honey. Hello, Dara. Nice to see you. Hello Jojo. Hello Sonia. I hope you all are doing well. Thank you so much for joining me tonight as we talk about how to level up our mindset, right? So many of us come into this dating and love game just already in our minds thinking.
It'S not going to happen. For me, you already come with a defeatist attitude and mindset and it's almost like double team, right? You're basically making it harder for yourself to actually achieve your love goals. So tonight what I wanted to do is go through some of those thoughts that you may be feeling and helping you reframe. Because right now what I know for sure is that getting into the best relationship of your life is so doable, is so possible. I'm literally doing it every one to two weeks with my various clients, both in my group program and also in my one on one. So. And I've been doing this for, I don't know, like a decade or so. So you'll have to forgive me if I if getting people into really great relationships and just leveling them up.
Is like very everyday for me.
I think it's life changing, but I see it all the time and so it just is super normal for me at this point. Hello, Adrienne. Good to see you girl. Good to see you. So tonight, this night, this session is all about saying hell yes. My love goals are attainable, they're achievable and I can make them happen. So I'd love for you in the chat to just share with me some of your thoughts that you have about love, men, relationships.
And dating so that I can help to reframe them. This is what we do in my program. This is what I did last night in my group program. We went through all of these different beliefs and we work through them to actually reframe them and something that's going to serve you. Why? Because if you don't, if you continue to beat yourself up with that voice in your head verbally, it just makes things ten times harder for you to actually stay Consistent and achieve your love goals. I always tell my clients all the time, dating is not about, you know, success or failure. It's about being consistent. And if you can be consistent, you will win in dating and love. But it is these thoughts that hold us down, right. That, you know, our belief is so low that it really does hurt us. And here's what I want to offer to you. If you don't believe in love, you cannot fall in love. Let me repeat that. If you do not believe in love, you cannot fall in love.
It's been proven time and time again. And so I wanted to offer that to you as we start to rethink this. Right? As we start to rethink, how can I think about love, dating, relationships, and men differently? Right? Because I'm 100% sure that some of the thoughts that you're having about these, these issues, these parts of your life are not serving you. And these thoughts that you're having are actually probably making you sad, frustrated, lonely, disappointed, angry.
All of the. Not above, but maybe below.
Right? And so we've got to be thinking about this a different way. Some of the thoughts that I hear so often when I talk to women about their love lives is I've never experienced a healthy relationship. Right. My mom and dad didn't have a healthy relationship, so I didn't have a model. If that's you, please shout it out. Let me know if that's you. Right? Here's the thing. There are a lot of things that you haven't had a model to, but you've been able to accomplish them anyway. So many of us are the first in our families to go to college. So many of us are the first in our families to get a job that is higher paying or buy a home or buy a luxury vehicle. There are so many things that you've already accomplished without having the model. So I want to offer to you that you're able to do this because you've done it in other parts of your life as well. Right? Yeah. Yeah. Amen is right.
So if you're having that thought, that excuse, cut it out. I'm not. I'm not taking it. And you shouldn't be accepting it for yourself either. Yeah. Share with me some other thoughts that you have that are holding you back from attaining the love life that you so deserve. Right. Another thing that I hear so often is, oh, well, I don't really have that much experience in relationships.
I'm pretty sure that any job that you've applied for, like the very first job you had, you didn't have a lot of experience doing it, right? But you practice and you get good at it and then you're ready to blow it out of the park, right? It's the same here. Your first job, the first time you're driving with your license, right. Any of the firsts that you have is probably, you're probably approaching it with not a lot of experience. Okay. But you did it anyway, right? Just because you don't have a lot of experience in something doesn't mean it's, it's impossible to accomplish. And it's the same for your love life as well that what it requires is you actually learning new skills and a new self concept for you to achieve your love goals. Here's what I know for sure. I always make this analogy because I think it's so important. All of the women that I work with are so accomplished and so smart and, and like have done the most amazing things in their lives. But this is like the only thing that is keeping them a bit stuck and they're not able to really get out of it. So the analogy that I always think about is you can have a 12 year old with, in a Ferrari like ready to race or you can, you can be like Mario Andretti with a pair of roller skates. And so many of you out there, no shade, are Mario Andretti's with roller skates. Like you have it inherently. You have like the self belief and you know like pretty much who you are. It's really about like the tools that you need to succeed and get to your goals. Right. As quickly as possible. Right. Sometimes we get mad at these women that seem to not do anything and they can attract men and get into relationships with ease. If there's a little bit of jealousy or envy, please call yourselves out in the chat. It's healthy to have that. Those are the 12 year olds in Lamborghinis and Ferraris that are just racing but don't know how to drive. Right? No shade to them, right? But for many of us, and I was one of these people included until I had to do massive amounts of work on myself, we are the like Mario Andretti's and we're literally trying to race Ferraris in roller skates.
Girl, it's not cute. It's hard work. And so what do we do? We try to work really hard. We overwork. We do too damn much and we still don't get there. And then we're burnt out and we're tired and we stop and we don't even finish the race right?
Who keeps on starting and stopping in their dating lives? Let me know. Put up a hand or an emoji. I want to know if you're starting and you're stopping.
Because of our.
