A short YouTube monologue by Anwar White offering dating advice for women of color in the San Francisco Bay Area. The speaker argues that limiting oneself to Oakland or to a single racial group will make dating difficult and recommends broadening geographic and ethnic openness across the Bay Area (San Francisco, South SF, San Jose, etc.).
Shari said, I just saw your video about the worst places for women of color to date. What's your opinion on San Francisco or Oakland? So I used to actually live in San Francisco and Oakland and had a lot of.
Amazing, amazing clients who had dated, gotten their guys there. Here's the thing.
Many women of color will just focus on dating in Oakland, but you actually have to date, like not just in Oakland and sf, but south sf, San Jose, the whole Bay Area. And we have to. For all of these cities that I'm talking about, you do yourself a great disservice if you're not dating everybody. If you're just trying to date a black guy, girl, forget about it. It's not gonna happen. You're gonna have to open yourself to Indian men, to East Asian men, to white white men, to Hispanic men, especially in California. Yeah. So I want to offer that to you. If you're not open, SF and Oakland are going to be very difficult.
