Scarcity Mindset with Coach Cass

Coach Cass explains how scarcity mindset makes busy professional women, especially women of color, settle for less in relationships. She traces it to cultural conditioning and economic dependence, then offers fixes: affirmations, boundary-setting, decluttering your space and thoughts, and treating dating as vetting, not hiring someone to fix.

I never felt the way I do without anyone but you.
Hello, hello, hello, everyone, and thank you so much for joining the getyourguy coaching podcast. I have a special guest with me this week, Coach Kaz. Coach Kaz, we've been trying to get get you on this podcast for a while. We finally made it happen. So why don't you introduce to all of the listeners out there who you are and what you do.
Okay. Well, hey, Coach Anwar. I am so excited to be here. So I'm a love coach for busy, professional women that have everything but a man. But really where I focus in on is her, right? And. And really being able to help her understand how to really love herself and not lose herself, how to choose the right kind of love because my mama didn't teach me right. And then really how to really thrive in the right relationship without self sabot. We have a good time.
Yeah, I love it. And can I just say, you got. You got that radio voice, girl, there. Girls relaxing me, girl.
I have been on the radio for quite some time.
Yes, yes, girl. I know. That's right. Okay, let me get. Let me get comfortable now. I didn't. I didn't know we were gonna give all this.
Yes, he's giving a little girl six. No shade, girl. Very comfortable.
Good, good, good, good, good, good. Okay, so let's get into it, girl, because, you know, we were talking a little bit. You were. You were talking a little. Like you're talking a lot about dating right now and what a lot of the women that you're talking to, what they're really going through and what sort of themes that you've heard. So please share with the audience kind of what you've been hearing, because I definitely want to talk a little bit about this.
Yeah. So I have been seeing. So I mainly work with busy professional women over 40. Right. The type of woman that's always working and saying love will come one day, and she's not doing much for it. So what I've. I've been seeing is that many women are treating love like it's on a clearance rack. Right. Like, it's on a clearance sale, and they're just trying to grab whatever's available because it's cheap and it's. It's really not. It's not working out. Right. So I call it the last man standing syndrome. I know you talk about the scarcity mindset, and it's just like this mindset of there's no one left. So I guess I work with this and the amount of conversations that I have had with women that are holding on to men because of finances. Right. Like, oh, well, he owes me money, or because, you know, he helps pick up the kids or he fixes the car. He's just there. Or the last is just. It's just convenient. So I think a lot of women are choosing love out of convenience instead of alignment, and it's not so serving them right. It's literally a place of chaos. I spoke to a woman yesterday, and she's dating a new guy that she met in Trinidad. Okay. Still, I got her groove back, but.
Oh, girl, oh, girl.
She's still living in the house with her ex husband. Hello. Because of bills. Because of. They need to remove some things out of the atmosphere. I'm like, what are we waiting on here? So what I'm seeing is that grown women who make great decisions at work are not making great decisions in their love life, and they're not applying the skill set they know out there right in here in their heart. Somehow they've separated it and expect magic fairy dust to come around and just fix it.
Yeah, I've seen this as well, and thank you so much for pointing this out, because I think a lot of women will really resonate with this, and I really want to get down to brass tacks in this episode and give the girls how we can get out of it. But first, I want to kind of. Kind of explore this a little bit. I'm going to share kind of what I've heard and what I've seen, and I would love for you to do the same. So a lot of what I'm saying, seeing from those busy professionals, is, okay, I've checked off everything else. It's this last thing that is unchecked. And so I don't care who actually fills this. I just want to check the box. I just want to have all my to do lists, everything checked off, so then I can just, like, continue to move on. So I see that a lot, as well as thinking. Thinking of this in life as just like a to do list, a checkbox, and, like, getting it done. The other thing that I see when it comes to, like, busy professionals that, you know, are waiting is because I think many of us have been taught, programmed condition that, like, if you do all the good things, if you live your life in this specific way, if you're the good Christian girl, you're the good school girl that, you know, you'll. The boy will suddenly appear because you've just lived your life as a holier than thou my person. And then for your, you know, as I say, you live your life good and then you'll go to heaven, Right? But it's kind of like you live your life good and then you'll get a man. So I'm hearing that a lot, too. I'm seeing that a lot too. But I would love to hear from you, what other things have you heard or from ladies? Their thought process in terms of what we're really talking about is settling.
Yeah, it's a whole lot settling. I call it rom com itis, right? Coach Anwar. So when you watch these romantic comedies, it really skews our views of how love should happen. And within an hour and a half, all of the climax and all of the things at the end is happily ever after. And they ride off in the sunset. And watching the reality shows and the married at first sight, we suddenly feel like, you know, it should happen in an instant, and if it doesn't, then something's wrong with me. So it's been a very common theme of just checking off the box and this person looks good on paper, but not taking the time to really get to know the person in front of them, especially the person within. So I've definitely seen the settling for who's available. So in the women that I have coached and looking at their relationship histories, many women haven't had over three to four real relationships, if that. And when I say, well, what made you say this is your person? I hear crickets very often to say, well, you know, he likes me. I'm like, did you like him back?
Right, right.
Like, what was that? Why did we even go there? But I just watched Wicked with my daughter, right? And this prince comes in and he's whisking everybody off their feet. The men, the women, everybody, right? And it's just like, well, what made him so special that everybody was excited because he was calling attention and he was cute. Like, where are our standards? Where is our vetting process? If. If we were hiring for a job, right, Coach Anwar. If we were hiring for a job, would we just pick up the first person that Came in to interview for that position. No, but somehow when it comes to love, we're just taking the first thing coming. Like, I guess this will work. And it's a real problem because we weren't taught how to vet. We weren't taught that there's somebody real out there that can be in alignment with us and not to just settle for a warm body who smiles.
Yeah. Yeah. I always say if it looks good on paper, it may give you paper cuts.
So we've got to do a little bit more than that. Thank you so much for sharing that. Let's talk about why this might be specific for women of color. Right? Like, because I actually think that this is actually more. More serious for women of color than it is for our white counterparts. And so would love to hear your thoughts around what is specific about this lived experience that allows us, Makes us. Makes it easy for us to settle when it comes to love and romance.
Listen, we were. We were taught to be strong, to endure, to make it work.
Right?
Like, you just. Just gotta work it out. And when we look across and we've.
Seen our mothers do it too.
Right?
No shade.
You know, like, I was. I was raised by very independent women. Okay. And men were expendable. So you got called on for things you were needed for and kicked out for things that we didn't need you for. Right? So I was taught specifically that men are for a purpose and a purpose only. So. So that thing of relationship and doing life together was foreign to me. That's something that I had to learn. Right? And then when we look back to, like, slavery and such, the men were separated from the women. So in terms of bringing together the black family or the people of color, like building a family, it is a different type of notion that we have to learn. And if we're learning it through our dysfunctional families, it's a tough situation. How many of us know grumpy married people that sleep in separate rooms, that hardly talk to each other, that have things on the side? I just remember when my daughter was born, three days after my daughter was born, my. My mom and my grandmother said to my husband, you're still here. I was like, where was he supposed to go? Right? Like, I chose a man that I knew that would be there by my bedside changing all diapers and things. But looking at their history, their men were in the street, their men were at the bar, their men were hanging out. Right. Would rather be outside than inside. So it's. It's really a new notion of telling a new Story of what family should look like.
Yeah.
And that we don't have to settle. And just because you don't have a man, there's nothing wrong with you. You know, this notion that you need somebody to complete you is a problem. Right. Because you're grabbing anything to complete you and they don't fit the puzzle. It's. Yeah, it's a lot.
I love that you're bringing it back because it's so important. I actually think that our mothers and our grandmothers and foremothers, they actually needed men to complete them. Not complete their internal, but complete their external. Right. Like, couldn't really buy a house in your name. Couldn't really have a bank account in your name. So you actually needed a man to live.
Right.
Right. So when you're brought up like that, Right. Even if you are living with completely different opportunities, there is still something inside that is saying, I still, I need this. But I. I want to offer to all of the listeners out there that most of you all, all of y' all really don't need a man. You may want one.
Right.
And that's when you want something, it's a different experience than needing it. If you need it, then you'll set. It's okay to settle. Right. And so I think it's important to differentiate. Do you need a man or do you want a man?
Right.
And if once you make that distinction, the way that we engage with men can be very different. If you need a man, you'll take anything, right? I need to. I need tissue paper. Sometimes you'll take that one ply girl, no shade. Sometimes you'll go to the 99 cent store, the Dollar Tree Girl. Get that one ply girl.
Right. But you might want the bidet.
Which is a completely different experience.
Come on, bidet.
And may I say cleanup?
Neither. Right. So I think that is a really important distinction to make when we're thinking about men and settling. Right. Scarcity mindsets. I would love to kind of talk a little bit about society, though, and how it contributes to the scarcity mindset in women, but specifically, like women of color and black women. What have you seen?
So it's just. Think about it. The scarcity mindset translates to money, career, friendships. You're many women, women of color, Black women stay in a position because this is the best they can get, or I'm going to move up the ladder here. They stay loyal. Right. For. For 20, 30 years to get maybe a 2% raise. That's a scarcity mindset. To not be able to leave and try something new. Scarcity mindset. To hold on to the friend that's not no longer serving you. But you've been friends for 20 years. You have a history. History, right. How many times have we heard that? Like, oh, well, we have a history. We've been through so much. Sometimes there's so much you've been through is. Is it's time to let it go. So I think there's a part of it that we need to do a cleansing and a cleaning in every area of our lives. The clutter. The clutter. So many women, women of color are secret hoarders who hold on to things because they were brought up in a place where you wash the foil, you wash the plastic bag. Or maybe it was just me, right? No, no, girl.
No, no, no, girl, you're spilling some tea right now. Which is learning. Is scarcity mindset.
It is.
Talk about it. Let's talk about it.
And you're just holding on to everything. And when you hold on to everything, there's room for nothing. You literally have to make physical room for love. And for some of you, if we step into your homes, let's be honest, there's no space, there's no room. So the scarcity mindset literally translates into every single area of our lives, including your time, your scarcity mindset. I don't have enough time for love. Well, why not? What are you doing with your time? What's more important than creating amazing relationships? In this world, we only. Life is but a vapor, right? And it's gone. I have a friend, 40 something, just had a mini stroke two days ago. Say what? Right? Like, come on, wake up call, right? When we think we're invincible, I want to remind you that tomorrow can be the last time you breathe. So when we start to look back on what we've experienced, are they just going to say, oh, well, she worked well. She was a good worker. You have to be careful. I have a live event that I do in South Florida in October, and one of the things, one of the women stood up and said, She's 65. And she said, you know, I just retired. And what I really realized is that I gave my job my all. And now that I'm retired and I look around, there's nothing there and no one's calling me, right? So I want you to be very careful of having the scarcity mindset that you got to give all of you to the job and you have nothing left for yourself. Because understand that when you leave or when they say you leave. That's it. Right? We. And we'll leave it right there.
Yeah. No, but I think you bring up such great points. I would love to kind of just brainstorm and talk with you about ways in which your scarcity mindset in your own life is coming up for you. We talked about hoarding. We talked about working too goddamn much.
Right. Horrible.
Right, yeah.
And then your money.
Other ways. What? Let's talk about. Yeah, money. Talk to me about what other ways are we in our scarcity mindset and the money.
Well, so specifically, I see it show up in terms of staying in relationships because a man owes money. Right? Like, that's how I see it. And it's just like, oh, no, I need to stay in order to get all these coins back that I lent out, gave out, borrowed at whatever, before I can leave. And I often say, well, what is the cost of your piece? Literally, I dated a man that I had to walk away from, and he owed me $15,000. Right. And at the time, I was making 30, so that was a big deal. Right. So that's half of my salary. But, you know, he was good for it because we were dating. But I had to say to myself, do I stay in this situation absolutely miserable with the hopes that he'll pay me back? Scarcity mindset. Or do I walk away in the fullness thereof of who I am, knowing that God's got my back? And I was able to pay off that bill before I got married because I didn't want to bring that into my next situation. But I'll tell you that I had to make a decision that I wasn't going to hang on to what wasn't serving me out of scarcity, that I'd never get that back. So many women are in this place of bondage from scarcity mindset, literally, because they're waiting for some type of payoff that isn't coming. Scarcity mindset. Dating a married man thinking he's going to leave his wife for you.
Scarcity mindset.
Right. Like, he's the only one. He's the only one left. So you know what? Oh, he said he's working on it. It's going to happen next month. Oh, it's going to happen in six months? Oh, it's going to happen in a year. Oh, it's been five years. And I've been the side chick, ma'. Am. Okay. Let's remind you that this man is not the only man left alive in the world. Yeah, it's a problem. It translates into every Single area.
Especially.
Especially love. So then when someone comes along, like I was talking about with the job interview, right. The first person, let's hire them. That's what we're doing when it comes to love. Oh, well, you know, if I close my eye one time, I might be attracted. Right. I might be attracted to this person. Well, you know, yeah, he smokes all day, but, you know, I don't like smoke. But he's working on it. Right. I want us to stop dating potential.
Yeah.
Right. I really think that that's a scarcity mindset. Like you're trying to build a man. You're trying to imagine. Okay, well, maybe if I could put him in this class and sending to this school and buy him these clothes and pretty him up, he'll be good. That's a problem. I need you to be dating people as is. You like him as is. It's a scarcity mindset if you feel like you have to fix someone to where they need to be in order for you to want to be with them.
Yeah. I think you make a really good point, which is we talked a little bit about this, but there's. There's scarcity mindset that is external things that are outside of us, and then there is the scarcity mindset that's internal. Because I can already hear the ladies listening. They're like, I don't have scarcity mindset. You know, like. But I want you to understand something, and it is this. When you're giving more to others than you're giving to yourself, that is a scarcity mindset. That when you can give $15,000 to somebody, but you are still buying, you know, day old bread, that scarcity mindset.
Right? No, but I think it's important that. And I. I'll share my personal story. One of the things that I felt like I had to do, and I would love to hear kind of how scarcity mindset kind of was for you, was I felt like I had to do everything for everyone. So I was the one that was paying for the dinners for my friends and family, picking people up from the airport, just doing everything.
Yeah.
Because of my own internal scarcity mindset and scarcity heartset and love for myself, I felt like I had to do all of these things to feel loved. And it wasn't until I had to do my own work that I realized that I got to do this shit for myself first. And I know it's so cliche and you hear it all of the time, but y' all still not doing it.
You'Re still not having people do for you as you do for yourself. Right. I think that one thing that I want to get across in this episode is that you don't have to do things for other people to be loved. That ultimately when you do things for yourself and allow people to do things for you, that scarcity mindset, I think will start to diminish and vanish very quickly, quicker than you may even think in a couple of months when you create a different mindset. But I would love to hear from you, girl. What did scarcity mindset look like in your life?
Yeah. So right in alignment, it's really being able to start setting boundaries. Right. And I specifically am thinking about my mom because you talked about picking up from the airport. Right. So when you work for yourself, you have a flexible schedule. So all of a sudden people feel like you should be the taxi.
Yeah.
And so my mom had all of these doctor's appointments and I love my mother, but each doctor's appointment would take three to four hours to, you know, pick up, drop off. Wait, dah, dah, dah. I'm like, this, this isn't gonna work, right? So I literally had to be in a place to say, mom, I could take you on these days and I cannot endorse. Right? So then it's your choice to choose somebody else, find somebody else, or get an Uber or whatever. And you know, she ended up telling me this is a one sided love affair. And I said, well, wow, you know, sometimes your family, your friends, they go, they gonna call your bluff, they gonna give you the guilt trip. And I had to call her out on that. I said, listen, you know, like, I love you and that has nothing to do with anything. And I can do these things. And if that's not enough for you, that's where I am. Right. Like that is where I am. And sometimes we have to be okay with folks being upset. I'm not in charge of their emotions. I could show up for you in this way and they can't accept that. That's their business. So I think a part of it is also people pleasing. Yeah, it's all connected. The scarcity mindset, setting boundaries and then people pleasing. It's like we come to this place where you went to school and you're just supposed to be a good little boy and girl. Right. So my daughter right now, she gets in trouble for talking in class. I struggle with telling her to keep her mouth shut. Right. I really, I really struggle because I don't want to quiet her voice I don't want to quiet who she is so that she's just pleasing the people. But then you also want her to not be getting in trouble 24 7. So it's really understanding how society works. And from a young age we're quieted, period. And it's something hard to overcome. So even as grown folk, we, we find our voice sounding like a teenage boy. Right. Going in and out. Because literally, depending on who you're speaking to, you might suck it all in or blurt it all out. So my invitation for those listening is that it's okay and to give yourself some compassion and grace as you deal with this scarcity mindset as you're on this self discovery. We don't have to be fully self evolved on day one. I believe the healing journey is a lifetime. People often say I'm my healing journey continue. Right. The healing is always going. Cuz somebody says something tomorrow, you like, oh, damn, here we go again. Right?
Uhhuh. Make you step outside of yourself, right?
Exactly like, oh, I thought I was healed. Okay, we, we gonna reset. We gonna reset and you try again. Give yourself some compassion. It's okay. The scarcity mindset, it comes back in because a part of it has been ingrained.
That's right.
That's right.
I think that is such an important point. One of the things that I see often and was part of my journey, and you'll have to let me know if it was part of yours as well, was.
This feeling that I wasn't enough.
Yeah.
Not smart enough, not black enough, not white enough, not skinny enough, not not, you know, you know, curvy enough, not fun enough, not funny enough, whatever it might be, not enough. And so if we're getting to the core of all of this. Yeah. This is what we have to talk about. And to your point about kind of this, you know, what you hear from society and what you, whether you are just anyone, but specifically a black or brown woman. Right. I want to honor that experience. You probably are hearing it so much too much. And so when we talk about scarcity mindset, I think it's important to understand that this is a conditioning and programming and that it's not something that is innate within you, which means that you can let it go as well. It's not something that will be with you forever. And so as we think about solutions, because this, this podcast is all about giving you actionable tips and tricks and advice around this. It's about finding new and different ways to be enough, not be everything, but actually to Be sufficient and be okay with your sufficiency, right? And so when I think about that, I also think about, and this is one of the things that I tell my clients, like all the time, every week, is I want you to treat yourself. I want you every week to get yourself something. Not because you've done something as if it were a reward, but because you want it, because it's pleasurable for you, because it makes you feel good. So if that cookie is $5, get the damn cookie. If you're going grocery shopping and you're getting all of the favorite things for your kids and nothing for yourself, half that, get your stuff first. And if you have extra money, get the special stuff for your kids, right? So treat. It's. It sounds very superficial, but actually the process and the action of investing in yourself, actually, whether you want to or not, starts to help you believe that you are worthy of the investments that you put into yourself. Now, I'm giving you examples in terms of treats and food, but this can be in a variety of different ways. Experiences, travel. And I know it sounds really superficial, but again, the investment actually helps you value yourself more. A lot of us are not investing in ourselves. To your earlier point. We're investing in a company through the work that we do. And so the more that you actually are able to invest in yourself. So everyone's homework today, by the way, because I love a good homework assignment, is I want you to find three ways to invest in yourself every day.
Every day.
Every day. What are your thoughts, Coach Cass? What do you think? What else can I do, right, to get out of this scarcity mindset that.
Just brought up so much for me? Because I. I'm. I'm taking a group of ladies to Antigua next month. And it's just like, that's. That's part of the message, right? Like, we can't wait for the man.
We.
We going now. Okay. Hello. The vacation. We got the girlcation. All right. So when we. When we started talking about investing in yourself. So one of the things that I personally do each day to get my mind right, right? And. And you feel like some. Sometimes people feel like affirmations are woo, woo. But last week, I had the opportunity to meet Janice Howard Bryant, I think that's her name. $4.3 billion. This woman is right below Oprah, right? 73 years old. She got rich off of HR staffing. And I asked her, I said, well, what is the vision that your parents gave you? Because she said, she often revisited the vision. Because I have an eight Year old daughter, like what, what can I instill in her? And she said, let your daughter be her right? Don't try and change her. Let your daughter be herself and allow her to be joyful every single day. And she mentioned her mother. She had 10 siblings. You know, that was a lot of kids in the house, y'. All.
That's, that's girl, that girl, they needed them, honey.
That's a lot of kids, right? So her mother every single day would sing. She said her siblings and her cannot think of one day where her mother was not singing. People would walk outside her house slowly just to hear her mother sing. And what that triggered in me is how can I exude that kind of joy each day? And what I realized is so, so many times we get overstressed, over anxious and overcompensate for everything that's going on around us and we need to focus more within. So how do you focus more within this same woman, this four, this 4.2 billionaire woman, says she writes affirmations every day. And her prized possession is her book of affirmations that she's written in over the decades at the top of her shelf in her office. And she said affirmation should be one line, no adjectives, super simple, right? So I am happy, right? I am healthy, right? So literally being able to get real about who you are and who you want to be and seeing it in the present tense and writing it down daily, we think it's woo woo, but it is scientifically proven when you write affirmations daily, it you breathe it in, you take the time out to be in stillness, it absolutely shifts how your brain thinks. So if right now you are overcompensating in a way where you're in a scarcity mindset, you don't know how to receive love, you don't know how to accept love. You only give it out and it's okay if it never comes back. Like if you're doing any of that, if you're holding on to love, that really isn't love, if you're holding on to what isn't for you, I'm going to start saying let those things go and create something space in your calendar space in your morning to be able to just write a few affirmations down and take some time to say why you're grateful for being here. You cannot be grateful and ungrateful at the same time. The brain cannot do it. So how do you leave? Live in a place of gratitude will help to combat this scarcity mindset. If you start to say, wow, I am grateful for the home that I live in. The less that you'll say, oh, man, you know, this house is so raggedy. You know, I got to get rid of it. You know, I can't pay my bills. You can't do that. At the same time, I am so grateful for the love that I have in my life. Oh, man. There's just no men out there, ma'.
Am. Right.
Understand this. These mantras that you continue to say to yourself are poisoning your brain. So I want you to take some time to capture your thoughts, literally, in a 24 to 48 time span. Every time you think something, just. Just write it down on a parking lot sheet of paper. And at the end of each day, I want you to circle the ones that reoccur. Because what's crazy is that about 95% of our thoughts repeat. Kind of like Dory from Finding Nemo, they repeat on a daily basis. So there are some themes in your mind that you may not be aware of that need to be counteracted. But in order to counteract it, we got to capture it first. So I'll add that to the homework.
I love that. And I just want to piggyback off of that, because some of my girls, I just want to offer that it's going to take time for you and these affirmations. Yeah, a lot of you all are perfectionists. Wanted to work immediately. We don't have a lot of patience. And so you'll do it for three to five days and be like, this is bullshit. It's wasting my time, and I'm just gonna do something else that feels more productive. I want you to give yourself a month of doing this. A full month. And then come back to us and figure it out. Because I will tell you right now, honey, I got my affirmations right here. Every day. I'm writing. Every day, honey.
Every day, honey.
I'm not playing games with these goddamn affirmations, girl. I will tell you right now, I'm going to read some of my. My goals out. There's no Iams. Although my work for the. For the year is world domination. My goals are I have a New York Times bestselling book about dating. I have a top TV show, and I've made millions on my app solution. Yeah. So. And I will tell you today, I just had an agent reach out to me and want to represent me with my book. Yeah. So work these affirmations, ladies, please. Work them to death. And take a month. Because guess what? A Lot of us are hardened and we're, we aren't open to it. And so it's going to take a while for us to open to understanding, learning and feeling. The affirmation.
Yeah, I love this. Oh, I love this. See proven.
Yeah. Give me some of your affirmations, girl.
Oh, my goodness. Okay, hold on.
And while she's going to get them, I want to offer to you all that we don't have to stay in scarcity mindset. This is a decision that we get to make. And sometimes it can feel really scary and different because.
It'S not what we saw, but we get to do different things because guess what? Most of you all are doing very different things than the rest of your family. Most of you are the first to go to college. Most of you all are the first to actually have amazing, crazy, high paying jobs. So you have proof and evidence that you can do something different and still thrive. And I want you to think about the same scarcity mindset, comment and theme in the same way that you get to want much more. Not just the job and the money, but also the love, the heart, space and the feelings that are involved with being in a healthy relationship. All right, you got your affirmations.
Yes, I do. So I haven't changed them still since talking to sis. So these are my originals. Right? So I am in optimal, vibrant health with a toned body. Okay. My daughter and I like and love each other and share a bond filled with love, respect and deep understanding. Let's see when I am treated like VIP everywhere I go. Hello. My home is a sanctuary, Clean, organized, in a space that inspires peace and fond memories. I cultivate meaningful relationships with inspiring, supportive friends, family and mentors. I trust God to guide me. Yes, those are just. Those are just the words and actions I speak and show reveal the kindness and beauty of my heart. Right? So those are just a few.
You're so goddamn poetic, girl. What the hell, girl, you made, you made my shit look like Dr. Seuss, girl. Messy as hell.
Wait, no, I got, I got, I got. Okay? I have a team that is easy to work with. Holds themselves and each other accountable. Self driven, believing the mission is real long.
That's better, girl. That's better. Don't leave me out here looking a fool in front of my audience.
So just FYI, ladies, one of the things that I do when it comes to these affirmations is first I read it in my head, after I write it, then I say it out loud. And then I feel the statement, the mantra, the affirmation to make it real. So I want. I want to just offer a way to do this, because I think some of y' all are just writing it down and thinking some magic is going to happen. And I think that there's a process that happens. And so I wanted to share my process. Process, if that's helpful for you. I don't know, Coach Cass, if you have your own process before we get out of here.
Yeah, yeah, the same. It's the same. So, yeah. So I. I write it down, and then I take a moment to really reflect on it, and I say to myself, is there anything I would change? Because they're very specific. Right. So ongoing. I. I'm trying not to add more. So I'm not sitting down for 72 minutes.
Right, right.
So, yeah, I definitely breathe it in. And sometimes I do tapping. So that's a whole nother class, but eft emotional freedom. So it's like just being able to connect the dots, you know, and you guys can just Google what tapping is and what it does, but it helps to cement the affirmations. And one of them, very simply, is, I am fully and completely loved as I am.
Yes. I think that's such the best affirmation to end off with. Amazing, amazing, amazing. Thank you so much, Coach Cass, for the ladies that are just completely inspired by you, because I know that I am. How can they get in touch with you?
