A short YouTube dating-advice clip by coach Anwar White aimed at smart, successful Black and Brown women. White argues that 'cuffing season' creates desperation among men (due to seasonal serotonin changes and higher winter testosterone) and recommends women do minimal active dating: brief daily app checks and going out once weekly while speaking to one man when out.

Hey, girl. It is cuffing season, Hunty, and I'm here to give you your cuffing season dating strategy. And you're going to be surprised because, you know, I give all the tea. But this, this dating strategy is going to surprise you coming from me. Now, for those of you that don't know me, my name is Anwar White. I'm a dating coach for smart and successful black and brown women. And I'm here to let you know something about cupping season. Cuffing season is a gag. What do I mean by that? I mean that these men are hella desperate in cuffing season and many of y' all don't know that. Many of you are thinking, oh, my God, I need to get a guy. I need to get a guy. You do not. Because these guys are so desperate for somebody. I'm gonna explain why that is so. During the wintertime, your serotonin levels will decrease because of the lack of light that is happening. What that means is that you are going to be going out less and you're going to have one of these little sun lamps, honey, to make sure that you don't get depressed with this seasonal disorder. And then what is going to happen is that because there's a lack of potential partners, these guys are going to feel a level of scarcity mindset around dating. Not to mention that their testosterone during the wintertime is at its highest. So, girl, these men are desperate, girl. So my cuffing strategy for you in terms of dating is to do like the bare minimum nothing. Because these guys are thirsty. Where do most cuffers look for partners? On the apps. Roughly 50% of them are on the apps, these guys, and then 40% of them are nightlife going out. So all I'm telling you to do is be on the apps 10 minutes in the morning, 10 minutes in the evening and go out once a week. And TT1G. Or for those of you that have been following me for a while, you already know that means talk to one guy when you are out. Don't act brand new in a corner not saying anything to anybody. Remember, in cuffing season, ladies, you have the power. You're the chooser. Stop waiting to be chosen. And please realize that when you do that, when you're on the apps, when you're going out once a week, you'll get your cuff. I hope this helps.
