Short video clip by dating coach Anwar White advising women of color to broaden height preferences when dating. He argues height bias (preference for men 6ft+) excludes many potential partners, does not predict relationship success, and reflects outdated evolutionary instincts; he cites research and shares coaching success rates.

Not hot. He's tall with no redeeming qualities. You can just climb a tree if you're bored. Let's move on. Hey, girl. I want to talk about this height situation because I'm having conversations with women every week as a dating coach for smart and successful women of color, and it is preventing you from finding your person. Research says that a guy that is 56 actually has to make 175k more than a guy that is 6 foot or taller just to be considered at the same stature. That is crazy. I get it, right? Our brains actually will tell us that men that are taller are smarter, nicer, more charismatic, more intelligent. That's not necessarily the case. And that comes back from caveman days when having a tall man helped you survive, right? Fight off animals, be able to pick fruit from trees, things like that. We're not living in that day anymore. And you are eliminating so many men because of your height requirements, and those height requirements do not actually correlate with a successful relationship outcome. When you are focused on just guys that are 6ft or taller, you are eliminating 85% of the guys out there. That's making your dating life super, super, super difficult. If you want to learn how to date in a different way, be more accepting, right? To find your person, because your person is not going to be the idealized version of what you think. As someone who gets women into relationships every week, 95% of the time, my clients tell me it doesn't look how they wanted it to look, but it feels how they always wanted it to feel. So if you want to have that experience, definitely book a call with me and I can help you do that. Oh, and by the way, if you think people are looking at you while you're with your short king, they're not. Nobody's looking at you. Nobody cares. It matters about what you feel and not what it looks like. I hope that helps.
