A short stitched YouTube clip (two speakers) discussing the idea of 'static identities' — how other people form an incomplete, fixed image of you from limited interactions — and applying that concept to dating. The speakers advise listeners to depersonalize rejection by remembering that most dates/ghosting reflect limited knowledge ("1%" of you) and mismatch rather than a full judgment of character; a paid 'Dating Strategy Starter' course is promoted as a tool to build a framework for depersonalizing dating.

The idea behind static identities comes from the fact that everyone you've ever met in your life has an image in their head about who they think you are. Now, even though you've been present for 100% of your life, other people have only seen bits and pieces of it. They've only seen 1%. Now, maybe that 1% was good, maybe it was bad, but that 1% makes up 100% of the character that they have in their mind about who you are. Remember, whenever you interact with someone, your radio stations begin to synchronize, which means you begin to incorporate their perception of you into your thoughts.
And this is why dating is so hard and why you're taking it so personally. Because one thing you have to understand about dating is that 97% of the guys out there you won't even have a third date with. But because there's so many unmatchings and sometimes ghosting, you're taking their thought of you even though they know one person of you as who you are as a person. And that's not necessarily true. So when you're feeling rejected in dating, I want you to understand that these guys only know 1% of me. They don't know all of me. So they can't reject all of me because they don't know all of me. I hope this helps as you continue to date and navigate this dating thing. If you want to have a strategy to help you depersonalize dating, definitely check out my dating Strategy Starter course. It helps to give you a framework and a strategy to date so that you're not going through and feeling rejected after every unmatched because most of these guys, one, are not ready, but two just are not your match. I hope this helps.
