A short YouTube monologue (posted by Anwar White) in which the speaker warns women to be cautious about befriending men. The speaker asserts most men are not seeking platonic friendship but are motivated by romantic/sexual interest or social status, and claims (specifically about white men) that some will “play the long game” to pursue women later.

Jen said. Thoughts on having male friends.
I don't think that men want to be friends with women.
So I would be really cautious about the men who want to be friends with you.
They might be playing the long game and waiting for you to be in a very vulnerable state, and then they're going to pounce. And especially if they are.
White and this is no shade, they will play that long game. They'll play the long game. Like, that's why many of you don't even think, like, these white guys are checking for you because they're just friendly with you. And they're like, he's not even showing me interest. And then a year later, a year and a half later, he's like, yeah, I've always liked you. So these white men will play the long game. Girl.
Yeah.
Most men don't want to be friends with women. They want to be with women to impress other men.
To gain status in this world, and friendship with women doesn't necessarily do that.
