So we have this preconceived notion in our head that these men are going to protect us. I'm going to say something that is a little bit controversial, but I think it's important to understand this. A lot of us think that black men are going to protect you, but no shade. They can't even protect themselves.

They are not.

A lot of us are looking for men that are going to make us feel feminine. And your job is to do the work to be feminine. Right? And so that's some of the work that I do with my clients.
