A short monologue by Anwar White arguing that men prefer women who set clear boundaries and communicate what they want (often mistaken for being 'mean' or 'not nice'). The speaker contrasts 'kind' and 'nice', criticizes the 'nice girl' script taught to many women, and emphasizes clarity and assertiveness as attractive traits.
Lemon Dew said, do men like mean girls? No. No, they don't. They like women that have boundaries.
I literally just did a video about this that maybe has close to 80,000 views or something like that. They like kind women, not nice. Yeah. The reason why, like, you will see, like, that bitchy friend or that girl girl that you don't really like getting into relationships is because she's clear about what she wants, and she shares it with the men that she's dating, and it gives them a road map to love her. And men love clarity. They don't love this, the attitude that goes with it, but they like understanding. Well, what the hell do you want? Okay, I can do that. I check that box. You're satisfied. And your satisfaction brings me satisfaction. When you are trying to be the nice girl and just kind of go with the flow girl, that's boring. These men don't like nice girls. And unfortunately, many women of color, many smart women, many Christian girls, have been taught to be the nice girl. It's giving daughter energy, right? No. Have you ever seen, like, a National Geographic where, like, a lion has captured its prey and it's kind of. And the prey is dead, and it's just like playing, playing with it. That's how they think about nice girls. You're not doing anything for me. I'm just playing around with you. I need something. Right.
So I'm sharing this because it's one of the biggest things that I see for so many amazing women that think that they have to perform nicety. Right. To get a guy and you don't need to do it, and it actually works against you.
