Short YouTube monologue (Anwar White) advising on what matters in long-term relationships: prioritize partners who will 'put in the work' (shared household labor, caregiving in later life, driving to appointments) and who do not habitually complain. Speaker contrasts fleeting sexual/chemistry-based attraction with long-term practical support and steady temperament.

Lightning bolt said, how do you unlearn that? I want to find man to get to the mid guy is great too. Because what needs to happen is that you need to understand that like chemistry, those chemicals fade within 18 months and that what matters. Like you want a date for a relationship that's going to last 20, 30, 40 years. You can have, you can go out and have sex with a fine guy tonight. That doesn't mean anything and it's probably gonna be mid anyway.
You want a guy that is going to put in the work and the work looks like cooking and cleaning in the home. It's gonna look like taking you to doctor's appointments when you're 60 plus. Right? Those are the things that matters. It's going to mean driving you everywhere and not complaining about it.
Because mid guys put in the work, they're used to working.
And not complaining. My partner, he never complains about anything.
Never. And maybe it's his cold ass Canadian behind, but he's not a complainer. You want a guy that doesn't complain, that's one of the things that you want to observe for when you're like having a date with a guy. If he's complaining about the weather, if he's complaining about work, he's going to complain for the rest of his life. Let somebody else hear those complaints. Girl, you not customer service, you hear me?
