Anwar White responds to a viewer (Callie) who lost 100 pounds and says dating has become difficult. He advises women to give themselves grace because mind, heart, and confidence often take time to catch up to physical change; notes weight loss may change the number but not necessarily the quality of people attracted; emphasizes that dating requires an intentional strategy (he teaches a proprietary dating strategy to clients); and rejects romantic-comedy myths in favor of skill-building for real-life dating.

Okay. Callie said, I've lost 100 pounds, and dating has been hard because of the men I attract or.
So one of the things that I want to offer to any women that have lost a significant amount of weight is that it's going to take some time for your mind and your heart and your confidence to catch up to where your body is. For many of you, not everyone, this has just been my experience. And so we're going to have to give ourselves some. Some. Some grace and compassion around this. Right.
I think what happens is that you might attract a different number of people, but it doesn't necessarily mean that the quality has changed. So it can be a bit overwhelming sometimes and it can actually be harder.
Yeah, that just requires a bit more dating strategy.
When you're dating. It's one of the things that I teach my clients. I have my own proprietary strategy for dating.
So.
For y' all in here, do you have a dating strategy? I want to know if you don't have a dating strategy, put Nostrategy up in here. And the reason why I say this is because a lot of us can, like, you know, be really hard on ourselves because you haven't perfected or understood this dating thing, when in reality, one, you've never been taught, and two, you don't have a strategy on dating. So of course it's going to be hard for you.
Most of us have a strategy for every other part of our lives except for dating. I think that the Rom coms and Disney tells us that it's just gonna happen and then it's just gonna be a happily ever after. And it's not like that. I do call myself the fairy God brother, but love and dating now is not a fairy tale.
This is real life. And it's not perfect. And people are going to make mistakes because they're human. And we have to be okay with and understand that we have to create skills to navigate when those things happen.
