There is something called being courted. And I know that it's really uncomfortable for a lot of women, but I need you, especially black women. I need to get used to this.
Nothing. It is especially important for black women to give absolutely nothing because you are going to need to evaluate and filter the men that are going to go well beyond themselves to be with you. And the reason I say that is because, as you know, your lived experience is challenging and hard, and your partner is going to have to take some of that, a lot of that, off your plate and protect you and shield you from that. So you're going to have to see if he's able to do that in the courtship. And part of that is also being able to deliver on these dates. Yeah.
