A short YouTube monologue (by Anwar White) advising women not to engage in relationships with men who are incarcerated. The speaker warns about high recidivism, claims elevated STI rates for men who have sex in prison (citing '20%...80%'), and discusses psychological drivers (attention/validation) that lead some women to support incarcerated partners. The tone is cautionary and direct.

Ariana said I was giving him money.
While in jail. Girl, then you should have been on Love after lockup. I want to say this with love and respect.
Don't engage with men that are in jail.
And I know that's not politically correct, and everybody deserves a second chance.
And. But, girl, do you know that recidivism rate? Girl, it's high for a reason.
And most of those guys are getting it in with other guys. And the STI rate for those men that start up in there is 20%, but when they leave, it's 80%.
So you giving him money and he's giving you STIs.
Don't do it. Now, I will tell you, most of the time, the women that do this right, jail or prison, I don't care.
Do it because.
They are starved for attention.
And these jailbirds and prison babies got nothing but time to give you that attention. And respectfully speaking, when they give you attention, they're getting attention from you.
You're helping them make the time go faster.
Because all they got is time.
They don't have anything else.
Don't get intoxicated, because you are.
Like, mistaking attention with actual love.
And we don't judge here. This is not. I'm not calling people out here. This is a call in, because I know that there are women there that really do like the attention, because we're human. And a human need is for attention, for validation, and I get that this isn't the way to do it.
