Anwar White, a dating coach for Black and brown women, breaks down which apps to avoid (eHarmony, The League, Facebook Dating, BLK, Tinder, Bumble) and which work better (Match, Coffee Meets Bagel, Hinge, OkCupid). Apps are just tools; what actually matters is personal growth and becoming the right partner.

Hey, girl. So I am a dating coach for black and brown women, and one of the things that I always ask them is, what apps are you on? And they tell me all of the apps that are horrible. So I wanted to just highlight the apps that are not going to serve you well if you're a black or brown woman, especially in the US do not go on eharmony. That ish is racist. You're not gonna get your guy on that. Do not go on the league. Those guys are elitist and are not checking for you. I don't want you to be on Facebook dating. I don't want you to be on Blk, because BLK has that cousin that we don't talk about, if you know what I mean. I don't want you to be on Tinder. That's a hookup site, and people will objectify your body because of it. I don't want you to be on Bumble. I actually really don't like Bumble because Bumble attracts the lazier, more toxic and narcissistic guys because they don't have to do anything. So I don't want you to be on Bumblebee. I do want you to be on Match. I want you to be on Coffee meets Bagel. I want you to be on Hinge. Of course. Hinge is like, number one. And then I also want you to be on OkCupid if you're an intellectual snob or a little bit quirky. Here's the thing about dating apps, because there's some dating coaches out there that don't really like them. I love dating apps because I would rather you have thousands of guys at your fingertips than you be at a bar with 50 guys that aren't really looking intentionally for any sort of dates. Right. I want you to understand that even though I'm telling you about these apps, it's not about the apps. It's about the woman that you become while you are dating to get into the best relationship of your life. That's what I work with my clients on, and that's why we've been super successful. 90% of my clients actually get into the best relationship of their lives when working with me. And even in the past five months, we've had 19 exclusive relationships, two engagements and one woman that's moved in with with her guy. So the work works. It's not about where you find the guy. It's about actually the woman that you become that's ready for the best relationship of her life. I hope this helps.
