5 Things You Must Know to Become A Profitable Ei Day Trader

DB Bedford lays out five requirements for day trading success: daily emotional intelligence practice, learning from losses, financial stability outside trading, staying open to learning, and strong self-belief. He frames each as a self-assessment question, arguing that lacking any of these makes day trading unsuitable for you.

Peace, fam. DB Bedford here, the EI Guy, bringing you that emotional intelligence both personally and professionally. Listen, here's the top 5 things you need to ask yourself if you want to become a profitable EI day trader. Okay, let's start with number 5. Number 5, are you willing to practice emotional intelligence in your life every single day? And what does that actually mean? It means that you believe and you are committed to never letting your emotions overpower your intelligence? Ask yourself that question. Okay, number 4, can you take an L? How well are you at taking losses? Owning your own trading business, you're going to take L's. Can you absorb a loss and not let it take you off track? That's a question you have to ask yourself. If you're somebody who is scared to take losses, this is not going to be the business for you. Number 3, You cannot be in survival mode. This is not the come-up series. This is not the business I want you to get in if you're trying to come up. If you're in survival mode, if you're robbing Peter to pay Paul, if you don't have your finances in order, this is not for you. And I'm telling you right now, don't try to do this with scared money. It's not going to work, right? It's going to put additional stress on you, and that's going to impact the way you trade. So you cannot be in survival mode. You've got to have your finances in order. And when I mean your finances in order, I just mean that you to be able to have some— a little money set into the side that you can invest in your trading business. But you can't rob Peter to pay Paul in this business. If you do that, you're going to be disappointed, and I wouldn't even want you to jump in. So please don't do that to yourself. Number 2, gotta have an open mind, right? You got to come in this with the open-minded approach. When you have an open-minded approach, it means that you're not looking for right or wrong. Good or bad, you are always seeking understanding of everything that you learn and everything that you experience. Okay, so you've got to have an open mind. And number one, which is the most important thing, you have to believe in yourself. If you are somebody who struggles, if you have low self-esteem, if you are not confident of who you are and your capabilities, don't do this. You have to believe that you can become an EID day trader and be profitable and take the type of profits And more that I've been showing you over the last couple of days. I'm telling you that anybody can learn this. And if you are a student of the game, if you are a lifetime learner, which everybody should be, you should be able to absorb this information and apply it to your skills to be able to be a profitable EI day trader. But you have to believe in yourself. If you don't believe in yourself, then this is not going to work. So that's the 5 things you need to ask yourself before you consider becoming an EI day trader.
