Peace fam, DB Bedford here, the EI Guy, bringing you that emotional intelligence both personally and professionally.
Listen, it's Throwback Thursday, December 30th, and I'm feeling real Dougie Fresh here on, uh, uh, uh, because in 6 minutes today I was able to capture $1,140.
Now I always like to challenge anyone who catches one of my videos. I want you, when this is over with, I want you to open up your phone and and set your timer for 6 minutes. I mean, seriously, just as an experiment, set the timer for 6 minutes, and then I want you to really figure out how could you make some money in 6 minutes. I want you to sit with that. And once the timer catches you and the time is up, I want you to say, man, I didn't really know how I could make some money in 6 minutes. And if you could figure out how to make money in 6 minutes, how much could you actually get? As an EI day trader, I want to show you how I was able to capture that $1,140 in 6 minutes, and then I want to show you how I can teach you how to do the same. Now, results may vary. That $1,140 could have been $140, it could have been $14, it could have been $11,000. It depends on how many contracts you want to trade, but I could teach you all of that. I could take you from where you are now and in a 5-day period show you how to day trade in the market. So coming into 2022, I want you to get excited about a skill that can show you how to make more money in less time.
Come on in, let me show you what I'm talking about. All right, so we're getting a nice strong run right here. Okay, so it broke through the level of resistance here, so this might be a good indicator that the— that this wants to go ahead and go up. We're 2 minutes into the trade, so we can go ahead and now, uh, that's momentum right there, so we want to take advantage of that. I'm gonna set my stop down to about 2248. I'm gonna go back and check and see if it's still Looks like it's still going, so we're going to jump in and see what happens, see if we can ride with that momentum that has happened. And because it's 2 minutes into the candle and it went ahead and it broke through the resistance level, they call it a breakout. So the idea here is that it's going to keep going. We got the volume, we got the MACD up, but you know, again, with being the first candle, you know, you never know. But we're trying to get in and see if we're going to catch that momentum as it was going. The EMA is slightly going up. The histogram has some steam here, so we may be able to catch a couple of points on this run. We got about 2 minutes before the next candle forms, so we might have some action here. All right, so now we're at 2257. I came in at 2254.50, so we can see right now in this moment there's an opportunity to get that 1 point. So for that 1-point scalper we talking about, we want to make sure we do this. We're going ahead, just click Click one time, hit your left button on your mouse, click one time, go up to 2254.5. Well, we got plenty of— look up, it's 2259, so we can get a couple of points. So let's go to 2257.50. What's coming back down? So let's go to 2650. Let's see what happened, right? So we just get 2 points real quick. So now we got 1 minute left in this candle. You can see it's now at 2261. We're at 2256, so we're gonna grab a couple more points. Why? Because we know that the next candle, when it opens, it could reverse, right? That momentum can change. So we're going to go ahead and go 2250— I mean, 2850, right? So now we got 4 points. So just in case this thing reverses on the next candle, we already secured 4 points real quick. We see we got another point in there we can get, so I'm gonna go ahead and go up one more point. It's at 2262 now. I'm at 2250, 850. There's nothing wrong with going up to 2260.50 right now, just in case this thing decides. We want to make sure we get, uh, the points that we came for. Okay, so right now we've already moved up. Looks like we got about 6 points on the board, and so we're gonna let this thing run. So we got a little reversal going on right here. The momentum wants to slow down just a little bit.
And so, uh, if it stops us out, we're okay because we have captured our points for the day.
It was a nice run, you know, that 6:35 candle, after it kind of went back and forth, we had that breakout.
The momentum kicked in and it made it obvious for us to be able to benefit from this trade.
And so we're excited about that.
We would love to see this thing keep going up, but if it doesn't, we're okay with that.
So that was the reversal, came back, touched our stop limit point. So let's go to position, see what we got. We have $1,140.
Okay.
So $1,140. We took one trade. We took it from 6:32.
We got out at 6:38.
And we ended up with $1,140. So how did that happen?
I was trading 3 contracts on the E-mini, uh, the Russell E-mini, and they were $50 apiece.
That means that every point I captured was worth $150. Got in on this nice, uh, bullish candle right here, caught that momentum.
You know, and benefited from it. And really, just like that, it's that straightforward. When you are an EI Day Trader, that's what we do. We sit down, we observe the market, we wait for high probability trades, and we execute. And then we get in and get out and get on about our business for the day. So this is something that piques your interest, or you know anybody that you believe that could do this, please click on the link connected to this video and get yourself involved in the 5-Day EI Trader Challenge. Because the 5-day challenge, it has served 2 purposes. Is one, it'll give you an opportunity for a minimum investment to see if this is even the type of trading for you. But on the other hand, even if you don't feel like it's for you, you're going to learn how to be able to set up a brokerage account, look at a chart, observe the movement, and understand when you can get in and get out to capture small profits. And if you're wrong about a trade, we're going to show you how to minimize those losses when we're managing our risk. So if you're excited like I'm excited and you want to come into the new year Everybody's gonna be on their new me, new this, new that. How about picking up a new skill? And in the meantime, please like and subscribe to EIDay Traders YouTube channel and check out a bunch of videos where I show you how I've done this time and time again, being able to capture small profits in the morning before most people even have breakfast. See you on the other side.
Peace.
