All right, good morning, EI Day Trader. It is June 1st, okay? And so the first trading day of the month, I decided that I was going to take a bullish trade this morning based on the way the market opened. Uh, when the market opened, the first candle opened above the EMA, the MACD had crossed over and had some divergence, and so I decided to capture getting in on the movement from the first to the second candle. You can see I got in at 12,752. I'm now, uh, moved my stop loss to 12,782, which is about 30 points on the NASDAQ. Uh, I'm on the NASDAQ micros trading 5 contracts at $2 a pop. And so I'm just going to see how long this trade continues to go forward. If it doesn't continue, I'm okay for the day because in a short period of time I've already captured A, uh, a small win. And I want to encourage you guys to remember to get back to the basics. The basic is to capture small profits, right? And then close the computer and come back the next day. Okay. So then there you have it. So that was my positions. I have $305 in one trade. It went from 6:30 to 6:39. So in 9 minutes, $305. The cool thing about the stock market, when you're trading futures, you can trade to the upside or to the downside. So my first trade happened, I caught it, uh, as it was moving to the upside, and then the next trade I caught to the downside. Right now I'm up $579. So my first trade from 6:30 to 6:39, that was 9 minutes. Had a quick trade here From 7:12 to 7:14, I got stopped out pretty quick right here. But then the final trade was from 7:15 to 7:18 to capture a few more points. So in total trading time, I've been trading for about 48 minutes, right? From 6:30 to 7:18. And from 6:30 to 7:18, which is less than an hour, I have $579. That's the life of an EID day trader. That's what can happen when you take a deeper dive into understanding the importance of learning how to get in, get out, and get on about your business for the day.
