Peace, fam.
DB Bedford here, the EI Guy, bringing you that emotional intelligence both personally and professionally. Listen, I feel real good and I'm juiced. You know, yesterday, October 29th, was the last trading day of the month of October, and I want to show you how I brought in $11,530 on a part-time basis this month. And I'm super excited to show you how to do the same. But before I get into that, I want to knock out these 5 questions that come to me on a regular basis to try to bring some clarity to what we're doing here. So an EI day trader is someone who leverages emotional intelligence, right, to day trade in the stock market. And the reason why emotional intelligence is important, because all of the strategies and the skills that it takes to exercise emotional intelligence in your everyday life applies to the decision-making process when it comes to determining when to get in the trade and get out of a trade. So an EI day trader is someone who their main strategy is to make decisions through the lens of emotional intelligence. This is a question everybody wants to know. So in order to open a day trading account, you need to have a minimum of $2,500 in your account. Now, if that sounds like a lot to you, I would want you to take into consideration that there was a time when you had to have $25,000 in your account to be able to day trade. So what makes this exciting, they have lowered the requirements down to $2,500. That gives the everyday person like you and I an opportunity to benefit in the stock market every single day. So really, that is something that you should be excited about. But If the thought about having $2,500 to put in an account to open to start your business, if you start to wrestle with that, I can tell you right now that this might not be for you, but we'll be here when you're ready. But it's gonna take at least that to get in the game. So the good thing about it is that we're not trading stocks. And so that I want you to understand that there are so many stocks in the stock market. People who day trade stocks have to do a lot of research to figure which stock they want to day trade for the day. I'm not saying it's a bad thing, but what we are trading is what they call futures contracts. And future contracts allows us basically to trade on the 4 major indexes: the NASDAQ, the Russell 2000, the Dow Jones, and the S&P 500. So depending on which one of those indexes you want to trade on, you are trading a basket of stocks at one time, and we're using future contracts to do so. I will break that down in the coaching program, but I did want to make sure that you understood that we're not trading stocks, so you don't have to try to figure out much about stocks. It doesn't matter whether the stock market is going up or down, and that's very, very important because the stock market only goes 3 ways: up, down, and sideways. When you're trading future contracts, it doesn't matter to us because we can make money when the stock market is going up. And we can make money on the way down. Can't wait to give you the insight on that one. Oh yeah, you're definitely going to lose some bread. Ain't no matter if, it's when. But here's the thing, just like any business, this is a day trading business and you have to look at it as such. And if you're an entrepreneur and you started a business, you understand what a P&L is, right? Your profit and loss. You're not going to always be profitable. You're going to take some losses, but the main key in the strategy is, right, so stick with me, is to maximize your profits and minimize your losses so that you could be profitable. Do I take L's along the way? Absolutely. But I take them in stride because I know that I'm going to be more profitable than not, because that's the whole goal of getting in the game. So if you have fear about losing any money or taking a loss, this also might not be for you. You can't get into this game with scared money. You have to have of money that you are willing to invest, and you have to take the education and the coaching and be confident and believe in yourself. And know, with all the billions of dollars that's being exchanged on the stock market every single day, you got to get up every day and know it's a little bit of that money that got your name on it. So the coaching program is going to start at the top of the year. I was kind of wrestling that I want to start it before then. I'm gonna let everybody get through the holidays, For now, you can just stick with me, watch the videos as they come out, share this with anybody you know that could benefit from starting their own side business. I call this the ultimate side hustle because it's a business that you can start and it doesn't require you to go out and try to sell anything to anybody, provide any service. You don't have to deal with no people. All you got to do is have your mind in check and be in alignment with your emotional intelligence, and you increase the chances of making good money. So now let me take this quick moment and show you how I got that 11 G's this month, part-time trading 20 hours this month, not in a week, this entire month. And to keep it real, it didn't take 20 hours. I just rounded it up. So let me show you how I did it.
Okay, so let's go. So let's cover this. All right, so this is my day trading log. So one of the things when it comes— when you start your day trading business, you should keep a log daily of your trades. One of the things I say at the top of every day, I am a consistently successful trader. So you go back and look at week 1, okay? October 1st, the 4th— oh, October 1st was a Friday and then Monday was the 4th. So as you can see, this week I had 2 red days. The green means positive, the 2 are the red days. And on those red days, I have notes on why those days were red. Because I didn't follow the plan, took too many trades. I was chasing trades instead of waiting for them or attracting them, what I like to say. But really, that means just waiting to observe them. And right here where I put the little note, low volume, uh, tight market, even though I was green $500, that means that I must have went down and came back up. You can see week 2 results, okay. I didn't trade on the 12th. Um, I don't know where I was at, but I didn't get a chance to trade. But as you can see across the board, all green. And I put in a lot of work to make this green, right? These are strategies.
This is not by happenstance.
I really took the time to learn this stuff and apply what I learned to it, which gave me a total of $11,530 for the month of October. Now, some of you will look at this and go, I mean, 11 G's, that ain't nothing, right? Um, some of you will look at it and be like, man, that's cool. But what I want to put in perspective, that it on the average, right, it takes an hour each day to finish trading. If you go back and look at my YouTube videos, you'll see I captured these profits in, uh, minutes— 7 minutes, 5 minutes, 32 minutes. So I'm gonna say for the month of October, part-time in my business, I made $11,530. And I'm going to say it took 20 hours or less, and I say 20 hours at the high, right? So that to me is a— is worth talking about, is worth getting excited about, and it's worth sharing. And this is why I'm letting you into my space of what it takes to become an EID day trader, because I want you to see yourself in it and become an EID day trader. Monday starts, uh, A new trading month. So you see, I already got November up and I'm ready for week, you know, for week 1, 2, 3, and 4. I'll put the dates up on Monday and I'll be recording and we're gonna keep this going.
