Peace, fam. DB Bedford here, the EI Guy, bringing you that emotional intelligence both personally and professionally. You see I'm rocking this hood today because today's trade, I was in and out like a robbery. I want to show you real quick how I got $585 in 1 minute. I mean, it took less time to get this trade than it's going to take you to watch this video. Come on in and check it out. All right, good morning. It's 6:31 in the morning, and this is just one of those days where as soon as you open up your account You can see that the market is selling off. Uh, usually I don't jump on the first, uh, candle, but I couldn't help it, so I got in at 2239. You can see it's already down to 2233. I mean, I gotta jump right in this and take advantage of, uh, this from the gate. So I'll go down to 2230, I'll say 6 right now, uh, just to go ahead and get on top of it. So that means I'll take, uh, 3 points real quick. Uh, it's still— it's at 2234 right now. And so that's just a quick scalp, you know. I'm sure that the market will start to reverse. It's the very first candle, but when you open up and you see, uh, how fast it was going down, it was very hard not to jump on it. A lot of times we want to wait and give the market time to kind of settle, but when it's pushing down like that, you definitely want to kind of jump on the first couple of points. And, uh, because, you know— And there you go. And that's that first reverse we're talking about, and it just Just a little bit, a quick $585. Like, that's the, that's the gift that the market can give you in any given moment. You go look at the activity, that was from 6:31 to 6:32. I'm done for the day. That's a wrap. The strategy here is to be satisfied with your profit. Now it's very easy, and as you can see that the next bar is also starting to go down too. I have learned you have to make a decision. Are you willing to risk your for show trying to get some more? And that is where the emotional intelligence come back in. I mean, I know that myself there's been times where I want to jump in thinking about all the possibilities, but to be an EI day trader and to increase your chances of being profitable, Then you go ahead and close out and get on about your business for the day. I mean, so there you have it, you know, $585 in 1 minute from 6:31 to 6:32. And the interesting thing about this trading, it really can be that simple. Is it always that straightforward? Of course not. Being an EI trader, I'm gonna give you every perspective and angle that you need to factor in before you get into trades and learning how to balance when to get in, When to get out, knowing when to hold them, knowing when to fold them, and being in tune with how you're feeling along the way. That is probably the number one secret to being a profitable trader. I know you've probably heard the stories. If you tell somebody that you're day trading, the first thing they're going to say is how risky it is. And they're right, it is very risky, and you're going to lose money along the way. That doesn't equate to not being profitable. Because if you make more money than the money that you lose, you are profitable. Just like any business, there's profit and loss statements. This is your EI business. You're going to have profits, you're going to have losses. The goal is to maximize your profits, minimize your losses, and that's what we're going to talk about in the 5-Day Trading Challenge. I hope to see you on the other side. In the meantime, just make sure to tap into the YouTube channel, like and subscribe, and share this with anybody you know that might be interested in becoming an EI
